We can’t borrow and spend our problems away, says Willis, as Moody’s downgrades rating for NZ

We can’t borrow and spend our problems away, says Willis, as Moody’s downgrades rating for NZ

Reminder our economic outlook in 2023 pre election was pretty decent, every single forecast since has been downgrading our performance because WIllis has made every mistake in the book due to ideology rather than any sensible approach to running the countries finances

I really wish someone would aggressively challenge this narrative they’re trying to build that somehow there was an alternative approach to COVID that would have been better. There wasn’t. The govt prioritised public safety over business. It worked. Was there a price? Yes. But it wasn’t in blood.

I’m glad I was shielded from this while growing up, but I recently learned that a classic Belgian specialty is peaches with tuna

Like literally half a tinned peach with tuna salad on top

Sir Sam Neill abused, threatened with violence over Central Otago goldmine stance He also accused Resources Minister Shane Jones of making criticism 'personal'.

Sir Sam Neill says he has been at the end of “disturbing” abuse, including physical threats after speaking out against the proposed large-scale goldmine. "Boy there are some loose cannons. The fight goes on … & we really need to stop this filthy mine." www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/sir-sam-n...

If Winston doesn't want to work with racists, why is he in the same party as Shane Jones and why is he in coalition with Paul Goldsmith?

How far must you have fallen in life to be making threats of violence against this actual national treasure, a man who, in his more whimsical moments, sings songs to ducks.
