Shamar Elkins, in the early morning hours, went to his wife's residence and shot her. He then made his way to another residence where he killed his seven children and 1 cousin. He critically wounded the mother of the cousin. He later died in a shootout with police. The question is "Why?"
A judge has ruled that clerk and recorder Justin Heap will have more control over voting procedures and drop off boxes in Maricopa County which includes the city of Phoenix. Heap had sued the County Board of Supervisors last summer, alleging it had taken control of certain aspects of elections.
House Speaker Mike Johnson uses his own faith to justify bigotry and defending Trump's recent tirades saying that the Pope shouldn't have shared a political opinion. That got social media going slamming Johnson for protecting a man who ran on an agenda of peace and using religion in his politics.
