This season was pretty good, but sadly I’m dropping HBO because the whole Paramount merger thing. Next season will be dead to me.

Thanks.

Sorry to vent, but I come at this from an angle being frustrated when other atheists use “nones” vaguely to play up the percentage of non-believers without digging deeper. Pet peeve.

…other than a trend toward not belonging to groups (political parties, religions, etc). General disengagement. Yet atheists get lumped into that cubbyhole for some reason.

So non-believers amongst women went from 3% in 2007 to 9% more recently and apparently Christians from 82% to 66%. Those are the interesting and more heartening numbers IMO. I just fail to see much in losing affiliation or becoming a “none” which IMO is a vague catch-all…

Maybe at crossroads for some between affiliations? Digging into the data on non-believers we have 2007 with 1% atheist and 2% agnostic

I’m not much of a fan of “nones” as a category. People read too much into it, especially us atheists. Losing affiliation seems more a Putnam “bowling alone” thing. People have trended away from political affiliation too. People losing religious affiliation doesn’t mean they lack belief.

And who was that dork who sniffed the seat Andrew Tate had just sat upon? Another “winner”.

I didn’t even know what a “Sneako” was until I just read the Wikipedia. Here we have these great social media venues and then people like Sneako and Clavicular show us why we cannot have nice things. I only recently learned of “Clavicular” and deeply regret that knowledge. Brain bleach!

Umm…Walking Dead (to a point), Person of Interest (RIP John Nolan playing evil Decima guy), The Pitt, Battlestar Galactica, Dexter, Scrubs, later era ER, Shameless (I am that)…

I couldn’t make it past the first episode of The Boys with the guy left holding his vaporized GF’s hands. Too much for me.

I mean I have beef with @profgalloway.com whenever he appears on Real Time with Bill Maher. That’s hopefully rare in occurrence.

Good to have beef once in a while IMO. YMMV.

You were born around the time I started working with my dad just south of Baltimore. A cicada eruption year there.

Salt-N-Pepa and Eric B & Rakim had stuff going on. Some Chicago House and Miami electro. Cool year.

You were born a year after I graduated high school. Happy birthday, but you are still quite younger than me.

Grilled onions are great. Raw onions are…cringe!

I never ate there.

Latest burger was a smash at my local pancake/BBQ spot. It was pretty damn good. Had a side of porked up green beans. No fries! My first smash burger.

Try not to eat like that often.

A different argument, but the French should have not been allowed to reestablish a presence in Vietnam after WWII. Fuck the quiet American guy Graham Greene depicted too. Brendan Fraser’s greatest role by far. Tragic.

Was JCVD a cameo in that one too?

Egads man! Please don’t. We didn’t learn from that either. We were actually training the Viet Minh in WWII with the Deer Team OSS thingie until the bombs dropped in Japan. Uncle Ho was our pal.

An NJ thing I guess?

He does have ok politics, not much unlike Bon Jovi, who I wasn’t a huge fan of musically.

I have to admit I’m not much of a Springsteen fan. I don’t hate his music and I grew up into adulthood through it all. I did like the Deliver Me from Nowhere movie which put perspective on his life and creative process, which was intriguing in how he had to fight for his own vision to be implemented

Wait. Is this official McLaren saying this? Oscar needs citrus?

I hope you guys make it to the starting line in Japan. At least Lando anyway. Was saddened by China.
