flintstones bit where fred washes his hands then pulls on the hand dryer dinosaurs tail and it rips ass for a minute straight
I’m an aberration even within my subculture but I’m reliant on it for any amount of legitimacy I might have so I’m constantly at odds
That’s not to say fursuiting isn’t equally important
furmost
I think first and furmost furry is a picture movement. I think the subculture depends on the picture making
Amazing work, it makes me want to try sculpting
Recently got more sculpting sessions in and stacy’s been getting a better shape! She’s got boobs and backrolls and thighs and cheeks! They still need some touchup but i feel like you can tell its her!
they need to up their game
Never did blind contour?
I’ve repeatedly called it “Steve Bannon’s Bluesky” for a reason

Played this shareware game a lot as a child and the ost is very good. youtu.be/2pOBjvA-Hzo?...
It was not a good game but like it was a shareware so you just played it. It was compelling because of how hard it was and how bizarre some of the music was. In the present we now know some of the tracks were corrupted apparently and then compiled lol
this shit got programmed into my young child brain youtu.be/lD9jsk4w008
What if people discovered the soundblaster bangers from the Solar Winds soundtrack
The moon child craze is fun. Makes me think about how wild it would be if it was any other old less known game, like what if the guy from shareware dos game Gateworld became a meme because of his teeth. What if the weirdly glitchy gateworld soundtrack became viral as “shareware back rooms music”
Anyway this is why I think the excuses people give are annoying
I think when you put say, an anthropomorphic duck or dinosaur in a similar pose facing away or obscured it can be confusing even with outline. So trying to synthesize a false atmosphere might make it even moreso
It trains you for navigation and those distances being translated to the medium
You’re supposed to learn to feel distance. Thats why high school art teachers made you draw without looking away from the subject back down to your paper.
I first started using a drawing tablet in 2006 and my memory is hazy but there is a learning curve of course with having your sight separate from the mechanical process of drawing but I think this is also one of the fundamentals that is taught to you in school for traditional art. Or it was anyway
There was this time over the past decade I guess where so many people were going oh a display tablet changes everything. I remember a long while back seeing Craig Mullins’ paintings that he did with like, a mouse
I’ve been using the same Wacom intuos4 non display tablet for 15 years. Before that I had a graphire 3 I think. I tried switching to using procreate on an iPad a few years ago and not only did it not feel right it made my neck hurt
I mean a barretina is basically a long beanie. Same idea

I like seeing that they were worn as a head covering under a brimmed hat
I want to be able to obliterate the outline in my paintings but I worry too much about there being too many layers when you include anthropomorphic figures. If you don’t have clarity what is it
