And I do agree that Workshops are important to continue building your skills and craft as an actor, but it does feel like its mainly used for marketing yourself for the person teaching the class more often than not instead of using it to help the actor learn and channel the lessons being taught.
I definitely agree with a lot of your sentiment. It's also a lot harder to get into when it comes to the financial side of things as well. When starting out professionally, it feels that you need to take many workshops as you can. However, they start piling up quickly. Not to mention the equipment.
I wish dairy helps with voice acting. I'd want to gobble up a cheeseburger every day before recording u.u

Consistent exercise of your acting muscles is important. 😤 A lot can be done in independent exercise, but there's nothing like working out with someone.

Reach 60 submissions on Casting Call Club Revamp Website Acquire an animation demo reel Getting cast in 3 projects (Disventure Camp, Wooden Heart, The Dark End) Participated in 9 voice acting workshops Bought an interface (Scarlett Solo) for Rode NT1 5th Gen and studio headphones (Tascam TH-200X) Sent 33 auditions via email 2025 Goals What I want to achieve for 2025 when it comes to voice acting. Audition for 3 projects a week Go to one workshop a month Acquire a commercial demo reel Sign to an agency Get cast in 10 projects Update Visual Reel Workshop with 5 different studios

Just made it back home safely from Anime Frontier. Unfortunately, I was not able to audition for Bang Zoom like I wanted, but I was very happy to meet @vanessabenvo.bsky.social this weekend. So it wasn't a total loss! Now I have to prepare for another road trip... Moving back home to Atlanta!
