1/2 Any guesses on the average age here? I’m not going to bother to ask people to guess the ethnicity.

Mass shooting in the United States. There are 8 children who are dead. There are at least 2 more who are injured.

Looking at American news sites, at least at this point it isn't even the lead story on most of them.

And again, this isn't going to change anything.

Yeah, they really aren’t pretending to be other than what they really are at this point.

I mean, every single MP were quite literally elected but sure. You all go with that claim that it is an “unelected majority government” I guess?

So… France is nice.

These are just a few of the boring photos I took.

A Trump Truth Social post suggesting that “a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back” which is an overt threat to commit genocide.

So genocide. He is saying he will murder an entire people. Full stop.

If Americans don’t want to go down in history compared to Germany during the bad moustache man regime, you might want to do something.

Uhm… what?

I hope I don’t need to explain the irony of this.

Paris, the Loire Valley, Mont St-Michel and Normandy, and Juno Beach in Brittany.

I’ve run trips for my school since 2008. I do them every second year. The 2028 trip will mark 20 years of organizing trips for my students. 🙂

My German ancestors are originally from the Alsace region. Definitely on the list of places to visit.

As much as I would like to believe the science, I’m afraid my employers are skeptics. lol

This counts as my first travel photo.

Off to France tomorrow.

Already planned for. I’ve been running trips since 2008 so I’m almost on autopilot at this point. lol

I was there in 2008 and am looking forward to going back. My bucket list destination is Mont Saint-Michel though. We will be visiting that site and I’m really excited about it. 🙂

It is a rule of my school division. No alcohol at all.

Such is life.

I’ll be on a school trip next week to France. Because I’m responsible for a group of students I sadly can not (understandably) imbibe while I am there.

I can however enjoy a beer or 4 on the Friday after work. 🙂

It is difficult to say to be honest. I for example have some Norse tattoos and my jewelry are Norse; a ring, bracelet, and chain with Mjölnir pendant. That particular tattoo does raise some potential red flags though. Certainly something to be aware of and keep an eye on.

57 of my fellow students were arrested, academically disciplined, and barred from campus 2 weeks before finals.

And then the visas of some of those students were quietly revoked.

And then the DEI office was killed.

And then we watched our mentors’ grants evaporate over “woke”.
