can only assume the latter at this point

If RBNY are interested in being more than a team for suburban New Jersey families they will bring in Saleh. I think that ship has sailed though.

A franchise with little success in their history still learning new lessons every season.

Difference is no one cares about reserve team results

good thing this is the “last” MLS Cup being played in December

unfortunately they promoted guys like Mosquera, Benedetti, and Rojas and have very little use for them, can even add Valencia to that list if the Leipzig LB loanee ever gets up to speed. Plus, Bradley apparently has no interest in playing Berggren.

Bazán is coming, eventually. Doesn’t really help much now though

Feel bad for Gustav. I could see the logic if he was losing minutes to another midfield player but to be behind converted wingers and strikers at what is a more natural position for him is as you say insulting

Cade is kind of one dimensional but I think he will be a useful and good player for RBNY this season. His crossing was better than I expected, sometimes the ball gets stuck at his feet.

I don’t think MdG cares.

Not well

Che would start at RB in your scenario

I don’t think they’ll be starting 2 LBs, but your point probably stands

Struber was fired before Eile signed. Eile is very good on the ball, but maybe not the most physically imposing or best defender. Young and has everything to keep improving though.

That’s not accurate. RBNY just have spent incredibly poorly recently. You could argue an injury prone Morgan on $1.5m is part of that problem.

The team moves at glacial speed with that stuff. Often feels like they wait for the perfect moment to try and maximize engagement numbers.

Mehmeti definitely. Jarvis took a back seat to Nate Worth when he rejoined RB2 from Tampa. Down the stretch of the season he played more at CB than in midfield.

He chose to work for RBNY. It’s a clear possibility. If only Red Bull circled the wagons for RBNYs failures like they did for Leipzig after their disastrous 2024-25 season.

D was a fair grade. Until RBNY proves that they actually want to win trophies they shouldn’t receive their flowers for anything

No one should speak confidently about how RBNY intends to operate. They don’t even believe in themselves.

Nailed it. RBNY fans are adept at cutting through the BS.

have they watched him play?

Not of any importance to fans of Red Bull New York the soccer team

10th in East, would have been 9th in the West. Anyway you want to try and spin it, not good enough. Sinking ship.

Team sucks, they wouldn’t have deserved it in the West either.

Well if it’s not effort than it is skill and quality, we knew that, ball is in your court RBNY FO. Get better players or continue to be irrelevant

Reaching the playoffs is not a goal, it’s a bare minimum expectation

If only there was a person who was employed by the team to solve these types of problems, maybe a head of sport?

Arrogance, indifference. Take your pick.

Someone on a local level would have to be paying attention to call it out. The fan media generally does not delve into the roster minutiae
