I try hard to not be that critical about characters but I know Disneyland chose their best to take media photos and the results ain't great folks

Unfortunately they don't get released back to the public automatically like that. They get batched and released out as they want to, and sometimes those slots will get re-allocated to other ticket types.

The next day, it compares predictions against actuals, and then makes micro-adjustments to weights, in an attempt to self-tune. My end goal is a better predictive model than other websites' "Is it packed" indicators.

If it helps, the avgs are taken for the previous day, based on samples every 15 minutes between 10am-10pm (to reflect the "busiest" time). Data is then fed into an algorithm that has various "weights" for indicator rides, weather, special events, and day of week, which then tries to predict today.
