Dang, you manage to pull such a wide dynamic range in your photos! I love how true to life your style is.

The Rosette!
Such a delicate and expansive nebula that never ceases to amaze me! I’m super excited because I was able to get a beautiful shot in time to include it in my 2026 calendar! Check it out if you’re interested!

Hey Space Nerds!
I just dropped my first astrophotography collection! I’ve curated my favorite photos from the last year and created some pieces that I thought you’d might love! I have calendars, wallpaper collection, and limited-run art prints available!
Check it out at samfyfeastro.com!
Well done! I didn’t know you did Astro as well! What’s your set up if you don’t mind me asking?
It’s Pleiades season again! 🎉
Fun fact, the Pleiades isn’t an emission nebula, but a reflection nebula, meaning all of the light seen here is being reflected from the enormous blue stars within!

Grazi!
#addfilm! This feed is great!
The Soouuullll Nebula.
This is 14hrs on a C9.25 and Hyperstar during a full moon phase(I know, I was desperate). You can tell the moon reduced the dynamic range that I was able to capture, but still was able to capture some decent detail regardless!

Here’s 7 hrs of M33 for your viewing pleasure!
I love all space photos, but I’m a galaxy lover at heart. The Triangulum is at the sweet spot in size that makes it one of the more approachable targets for mid-focal length telescopes (400-600mm).

Be still my heart!
I recently had the chance to use my friend’s Hyperstar setup and camera. What an incredible light bucket! I can see why these setups are so popular 🤯

This isn’t even a remotely believable deepfake. Though it is painfully close to reality.
The Teddy Bear Nebula 🧸
I don’t get the name, but it is pretty cute!

Hopefully back to quicker turnarounds on projects; I snagged 6hrs on the Pac-Man nebula last night! Used a slightly different narrowband palette, which I feel highlights the core a bit more!

The whole process was around a month to get enough clear nights to put it together!
Quite possibly my longest project to date, I finally finished my mosaic of the Andromeda galaxy! I learned a ton from this one, and feel much more comfortable with now. Still, I’ll be sticking to one-offs for a little while 😅
Total Time: 24hrs (12 per tile)

The Triffid. 10hrs so far this year and I’ve gotten next to nothing of use. It’s just too close to some street lights where I shoot, and make it pointless for me to try.
The detail in those clouds! Absolutely stunning! What was your scope and integration time??
I think the same thing every time! 😂
OSC! ASI533mc Pro
I usually did it right before bringing the scope in the morning, but I’ve started taking right at the start of imaging the night before and love that routine way better. It’s nice to just haul in gear when I’m groggy and sleepy the next day!
Stunning detail and color palette!
I just realized I never posted my third photo in my Cygnus Loop series! This is the Eastern Veil, and was caught a bit over a month ago during a window in the early summer storms here in MT

Dude this needs like a thousand more likes. Well done! Those dust lanes trailing behind the cocoon look sharp!

Stunning! Love that you’ve got all the bases covered with either end of the focal range!
Question; is there a reason why you use a diagonal with your imaging setup? Does the diagonal cause any aberration or light loss?
I ALMOST posted that instead. Same energy 😂
‘That’s a pretty nice bonus you got there. It’d be a shame if something were to happen to it…’
Really impressive! Sharp indeed!
