It's not hard to get in contact with a union. CWA does a great job. Unionizing in America is the hard part. There are many reasons why unionizing your workplace might fail and it has nothing to do with your organizing chops or your spiritual fire, and everything to do with the law and resources.

He was making some noise yesterday that seemed unusually feisty but you're probably right. Pelosi didn't train fighters. She trained bureaucrats.
Hating women but leftishly is a trend to keep your eye on, it's going to get worse before it gets better
According to the Republican Party, there are two types of elections in the United States: fair elections they win, and rigged elections they lose.
I shit you not, Trump is posting about The Apprentice
"Race hate isn't human nature; race hate is the abandonment of human nature."
Orson Welles, 1946.
Oh god you're right.
Americans better be taking notes from South Korea just saying.
here is the thing about vote scolding: it doesn't work
my personal position is that the right thing to do is to vote and - because the republican party is so completely world-destroyingly insane - to vote for the democrats
but you simply cannot change minds on this by scolding people
"I WAS TAKING 80 MG FENTANYLS, TWO IN THE MORNING, STUFFING THEM UNDER MY GUMS. I HAD TWO 300 MG PATCHES OF FENTANYL ON MY LEGS AND THEY GAVE ME SIX 1500 MG FENTANYL LOLLIPOPS TO EAT. • 95 HULK HOGAN REVEALS HOW MUCH FENTANYL HE WAS TAKING IN TNA
Pretty sure the unifying theme of MAGA celebrity is Sex, Drugs, and 80’s show tunes.
when she does run and crushes the various Obama clones, losers, and Gavin Newsom, they will have no one but themselves to blame
remember when AOC (our future president) was passed over for Oversight ranking member by a man who was *literally dying*
"We should replace NATO with the Abraham Accords" is one of those things that you'd say as a caricature of pro-Israel analysts but now these guys seriously believe it and even have Congresspeople saying it for them
Just saw the trailer for Coyote vs. Acme. To think WB would've just buried this. youtu.be/H-43VeYGiPM?...
The first person to discover a link between increased levels of CO2 and #globalwarming was a New Yorker named Eunice Newton Foote. Read her 1856 paper, and how she went unacknowledged for more than a century, here: publicdomainreview.org/collection/f... #earthday #climatechange
If you like what happened in Virginia, you’re gonna love DC statehood

A dog sitting on the floor, posing in front of a wall where three tailored jackets are hanging.
A dog poses on a table. He's surrounded by a tailor's measuring tape.
Every time this tailor posts a photo of their workspace, it looks like their dog is a tailor and he's showing off the garments he made.

the conservative reaction to the virginia results remind me quite a bit of their reaction to the 2012 presidential election, where they were offended that democrats ran to win
So the DVD/Blu-ray that backers already paid for is free, but they've been waffling for a while on whether to charge more for bonus features/additional content, and this is what they came up with.
Yep.
That’s one of the reasons Trump is so hesitant to resume the war, aside from the crippling unpopularity.
Iran has had two weeks to prepare, and the assessment is that Israel and the Gulf States would likely be facing large retaliatory salvos.
Trump refusing to recognize congress's actions seems like the modal outcome to me ngl.
Disk with bonus features for $25US.
the only picture you'll ever need when explaining "sea lions are what happened when bears decided they wanted to play in the ocean as a full time job"
Yeah I think I will as well. It seems like a fair price considering what we're getting.
They sent an email out to their backers this morning.
the *professional* sectors where unions do well are kinda the sweet spot for rich-country unionization imo: workers are compensated well enough that there is less precarity to scare workers away from collective action, but they're in industries where absolutely insane treatment of staff is the norm
So, how are we feeling about the DVD/Blu-ray announcement from the Voyager Documentary?
