"Let's blow this thing and go home!" The Force was strong in Vegas where we celebrated the debut of LEGO SMART Brick & LEGO SMART Play at CES by piloting a full-size LEGO Star Wars X-Wing and finding the thermal exhaust port on the Sphere-turned-Death Star. My entire childhood in one experience!

My friend Kevin Woods sent me this pic. I believe it's 2015. Biff did Homestead hot laps live on SportsCenter, and we all crammed into the Mustang with him. It's impossible to quantify how much fun I had with this man but also how much he taught me about racing. I'm so sad.

I'm so sad to hear about the passing of former South Carolina QB Steve Taneyhill. It's hard to explain to people today the pop culture phenom that No. 18 and his rattail were. I've never hated a player more (bitter '90s Tennessee alum) that I enjoyed so much as an adult.

Happy #ArmyNavy day! My Dad's always asked about his greatest experience as a college official. The answer? His two Army-Navy games. Especially 12/7/91, Pearl Harbor's 50th anniversary. A sideline full of leaders & heroes and a pregame POTUS address. That's Pops, far left.

There aren't many people of whom you can say every time you talked to them you learned something. Every conversation with Roy Kramer was an education. Death is never well-timed. But saying goodbye to Mr. Kramer on the eve of the SEC Championship he created feels sorta perfect.

At 62, John Force agreed to be in 2011's ESPN Mag Body Issue, full of young chiseled athletes, to show his crash scars. We met in his RV to talk about it. By the time he was done explaining he was naked. "Don't act grossed out. I have to look at this s--t everyday." He's 1 of 1.

Reality show I'd watch: All the college football coaches fired this year in a Buffalo Wild Wings, mic'd up and watching games live.

Boarding for Saturday's Marty & McGee and the plane is packed with LSU and Florida fans headed to Baton Rouge, Saints and 49ers fans headed to the Superdome, an entire row of Duke fans headed to Tulane and one dude in New Mexico State gear headed to LA Tech. God bless football.

I don’t know what we’d just said, but clearly we were very impressed with it. Thanks Mizzou for a great morning.

The Gamecocks scoring a TD at the exact moment that engines fired for the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway is peak South Carolina. Anyone coincidentally biting into a mustard-based BBQ sandwich at that same instant was immediately raptured to the Myrtle Beach Pavilion.

Congrats to my pal Jay Busbee on his new book, Iron in the Blood, a history of Auburn vs Alabama. Drops tomorrow. It's really good. Trust me.

What a legend. If there has ever been someone who loved racing more, I've never met them. But he also never let racing define who he was. Godspeed, Humpy Wheeler. And thank you.

Hey, don't mind us, guy. We all have no problem with you holding up the entire parking deck because you feel the need to gingerly back your Tacoma into its spot like it's a long haul Yellow Freight 18-wheeler full of liquid gold

So much fun doing my leg of SportsCenter 50 States/50 Days, aka 2 States/2 Days. Thanks to Bristol Motor Speedway, MLB and the ACL for an All-American weekend.

Thanks so much to the NASO for asking me to deliver the opening address for this year's Sports Officiating Summit. What an honor and thrill for the kid of a college football official. Have a great summit!

With Ozzy Osbourne‘s death all I can think about is, had this happened years ago what would my youth pastors have had to breathlessly warn me about? #bittenbatheads #backwardsmasking #coulditbeSatan 😈🤘🦇

I am so sad to hear about the death of Felix Baumgartner. I'm often asked about my favorite stories I've written over the years. The time I spent with Felix ahead of his space jump in 2012 is always near the top of my list. www.espn.com/action/story...
