Thanks for the birthday vibes, everyone. We had a perfect day of lazy breakfasts, present openings, pucnic at a larger lake and swimming & stand-up paddling, then playing dominion and losing lol. Ive spent the day getting used to my new macbook air, which is awesome, and editing on it (fun!).

Finger scalping.
I'm writing a short story about a manicurist & had to research the process of a manicure. Guys, this is way more horrific than anything we can make up, times 10 fingers.
I thought i'd got a really gross idea but it turns out every manicurist is a skilled surgeon with tools that maim, slice & scalp.
That's probably the best epitaph the man could have on his gravestone.
See! The trauma doesn't go away! Damn cameras lost him for like two minutes where we all thought he was dead. That he'd basically made his brain mush.
And then... nope. He's all good.
