No, but I've heard it can have a negative impact on mental health.

My own opinion is that it's good to signal (through words and/or actions) the virtues that you value; that's one of the most important parts of maintaining a healthy community.

While not serious, another issue for AFAB is not knowing when your period starts. It starts with back pain, but that could be normal for me.

I love how Enid Blyton's books often contain a spoiled rich kid who's viewed with disdain because they have too much money even though all her characters attend boarding school.

His wealth was obtained from exploiting Black South Africans and many other people. Of course he'd say that.

Imagine watching disaster movies like The Day After Tomorrow or 2012 and thinking that the apocalyptic weather scenes were the “unrealistic” part.
Turns out those scenes were almost bang on.
The unrealistic part was the humans working together to overcome the problem & save the world. Sigh.

A graphic with a picture of Elon Musk sneering on the left and white text on the right that reads: “If billionaires like Elon Musk paid into Social Security at the same rate as the rest of us on all of their income, we could expand benefits for everyone and pay them in full forever.”
There’s no reason billionaires should stop paying into Social Security in January while the rest of us contribute all year.
It’s time to scrap the cap.

Will your MP be joining @mp4stratford.bsky.social and following the advice of 1,200 scientists who signed a letter to all MPs explaining why the UK's existing legislation is far from adequate for the challenge ahead.

Thank you Aberdeen Council for keeping the main roads clear of ice and snow. The people who work clearing the roads are true heroes ❤️

This man and a small group of capitol police officers singlehandedly saved our democracy four years ago.
In November, 77 million Americans said "to hell with them" and voted for the insurrectionists.
Your "Back the Blue" flags are a pathetic disgrace and your patriotism is bullsh*t.

I can’t stop thinking about the Canadian politician who became disabled at 60 and ended up homeless
Other politicians came together to raise over 40k in less than 48 hours … because they KNOW you can’t survive on government assistance.
So why aren’t we changing policies? 🧵/1

Got you on that;
French discovered 15 yrs ago a small piece of electronic which CAUSES a machine to automatically break down, just after guarantee is over.
For CLIMATE CHANGE, 🇫🇷 has banned this small piece in ALL electronic home appliances, making them reparable

Some features can be helpful for accessibility e.g. if you can control them from your phone, but it's usually a waste of money and resources. I knew someone who had Spotify on his fridge. Why? You already have a computer, ipad, and phone.

I don't want my fridge to have a camera or Wi-Fi. I don't want my dishwasher to be smart. I don't want my washing machine to text me.
In fact, I kinda miss knobs and dials and knowing big appliances would last 20 years and could still be repaired.

If you ever find yourself saying "No one who works 40 hours a week deserves (to go homeless, to go hungry, etc)" just deleted the "who works 40 hours a week" part.
Disabled people don't deserve to go hungry. Children don't deserve to go hungry. Seniors and the elderly do not deserve to go hungry.

My new one can't easily be taken apart so I can't just get a refill.

A person may use a wheelchair because they cannot stand or walk at all.
A person may use a wheelchair because they cannot walk for long distances.
A person may use a wheelchair because they are recovering.
A person may use a wheelchair due to fatigue.
These reasons are all valid.
