Would you happen to be using a VPN? If so, please switch it off to see if it helps. Could you also try uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile app? Let me know how it goes! - Ben
Thanks for confirming that! We flagged this with the team yesterday, and they're currently taking a closer look. Hopefully, we’ll have this resolved soon. - Ben

Oh, that's definitely unexpected, I'm sorry! I've done a bit of testing here and I can't reproduce it - the URL stays in place. Would you mind sharing a screen recording of the steps you took to create a post like this? I'll get out apps team to check it out and get it fixed.

Sorry to hear about the upload trouble! Is there an error that comes up at all? If this is on the web, could you give this a try after logging into Buffer in an Incognito window? Keen to help get this sorted!

The best time to post is when 12 tonnes of your product goes missing
Hi there - I'm so sorry for the confusion! Do you remember what the error message said? Can you please let me know which post ran into this, or if it's happening with all posts? - Ben
Hi James, thanks for trying that, and I'm sorry this is persisting! Would you mind emailing us at hello@buffer.com from the email address you use in Buffer? We can take a deeper look! -Lexi
Hi James, I'm so sorry for the trouble here, and eager to help! If you click the "Retry now" button on the failed post, does it go through successfully? -Lexi
I'm sorry to hear that, James! Would you be up for sharing some details about the post via DM/chat so we can dig in and troubleshoot it? We're here to help :)

You're very welcome! I'm glad Dee's answer was helpful 😊

Great question! The ✨ icon suggests optimal posting times based on your own post history (when enough data exists) or Buffer's research on best engagement times by platform. No generative AI involved, purely data-driven recommendations! - Dee
Thanks for letting us know, Joanna, though I'm so sorry for the initial issue (and dupes!). -Lexi
Apologies for disrupting your workflow with this, Jack. Our team has identified the issue, and we're digging in. - Dee
If you haven't tried Buffer in a while, come back and see how different it feels! 🔗 buffer.com/resources/in...
It's not a reinvention of Buffer; more like the product finally looking the way it was always supposed to. 💙
And it gives us the foundation to build what's coming next: smarter scheduling, deeper insights, and tools that help you stay consistent without burning out!
The redesign is the most visible version of that so far!
- New navigation with everything in one sidebar.
- Warm neutral tones and a lighter visual language that puts your content front and center.
- Softer shapes, lighter typography, simpler illustrations. A more spacious, friendly feel overall.
We've been building toward Buffer being the calm in the middle of that. A space that helps you build steady momentum rather than adding to the noise.
Here's the thinking behind it: Social platforms have changed a lot in the last few years; not just in terms of the players and metrics, but how they feel. They're often chaotic, algorithm-driven, & exhausting to navigate when you're trying to build something. Not where anyone does their best work. 🙈
You know that feeling after rearranging your furniture? 👀
Everything is still the same underneath, but the space suddenly works better for you1?
Opening Buffer today might feel a bit like that! 🥳
Introducing a calmer, more flexible Buffer:
I'm sorry to hear that! Was it for your @amelia-stardust.bsky.social channel, as well? I'm not seeing details about an error on my side, but if you could point me towards the post, I'd love to make sure we can get things up and running. -Julia
We're seeing an increase in the number of posts failing to publish to TikTok. We're sorry for the disruption. We're investigating the cause of the issue, and and we'll share updates here and to our Status Page:

A lot has grown since then, but the feeling remains the same: deep gratitude for the journey and excitement for what’s next.
🇪🇸 Barcelona is almost here!
As we get ready for our 2026 Buffer retreat in Barcelona, we’ve been reflecting on this moment from last year in Antalya, Türkiye. 💙
At the start of the retreat, our Founder CEO, @joelgascoigne, shared where Buffer was at the time and what lay ahead.
Hey @surfdude29.ispost.ing and @pogue.omg.lol - we were able to work with our link shortening partners on this and they got a fix out a couple of days ago! Should be all good from here :)

Explored Buffer's API buffer.com/developer-api. Since Obsidian stores everything as Markdown files, you could designate a folder like /To Publish, a script or tool watches that folder, and when a note is “ready,” it gets sent to Buffer via its API. Perhaps this option might help? - Octavio (2/2)
Hi, Jeff! Thank you sharing this! It sounds like Obsidian is your source of truth for everything creative, which makes total sense.Connecting that kind of content vault with Buffer is a really interesting idea. I can see how that would make your workflow much smoother. I wonder if you've (1/2)
We love getting to share more of that thinking through this series, and we’re excited for what’s ahead! ✨
