Alternatively, move your queen to F5, then alternatively move the Rook and queen towards your side of the board. The rook is always protected by the queen, so the King can only retreat. Eventually the King will be on row 1, and when you move the rook or queen to row 1 it's checkmate.

It's protected by both the bishop and the rook. They have to move to C3 or C5. Then you can promote to a queen to force them on to B.
They could theoretically move back to D, but then you can instantly checkmate them by moving your rook to D.
You do not instantly win if they have only a king, at least to my knowledge. They can still force a draw against an inexperienced player.
The quicker way was to start eliminating the areas the computer could move to, probably by moving your pre-existing queen next to the King at E4.
So before untapping, she'd play the mountain tapped onto her tapped pile of lands, then untap all of them?
I really want to know what the untap method was.
It's because you're awesome, and by the transitive property of awesome, your comic is also awesome.
So chapter 2 is "anecdotes vs data", right?
A good example might be "Grapefruit is good for you."
"But I take statins, and eating grapefruit will kill me." - Specific exception
"I'm allergic." - Specific exception
The battery on that still somehow lasted twice as long as my current Fitbit. It was miraculous not having to charge the thing more than once/week.
I want my B&W, always on display Fitbit back. The display was always on, so it actually functioned as a watch without having to do goofy hand movements that fail 75% of the time, and I end up needing two hands to look at my watch.
My Fitbit also has a bunch of apps I never use, though.
Angry Folk Band does some good ones. Laser Printed Hero is good, as is I Storked It.
And of course, there's @ginnydi.com for good TTRPG songs.
Makes me wonder how much control she has over what's dissolved in her water.
Distilled water is actually pretty resistant to electricity, so would not have issues being electrocuted. Sea water, however, is very conductive. Tap is somewhere in the middle. Brooke is mostly sea & tap water, IIRC?
I immediately thought of Punkey Doodles. They do almost exclusively shorts, and they're fantasy/D&D type stuff.
I'm not sure I could go back to physical. I tend to get hardbacks and special editions if they're available, and they're just so heavy by comparison! Last time I tried, I hurt my shoulder and neck.
eBooks are just too convenient. Even if I buy a physical copy of a book, I also buy the eBook because chances are I'm going to read it on my lightweight eReader. It fits in my pocket, and has most of the books I own on it.
Alright, listen. This comes up a lot.
Forgiveness is not something you can get. It's something someone else can give you.
You are not entitled to forgiveness, no matter what you do.
You do not get to define how hurt someone is, nor how long they're mad about what you did.
This is what you get when you don't:

I shortened mine to Blue Liberal, because Blue Cheese Liberal sounds weird, and I think Blue Liberal is funnier.
I would shorten mine to Blue Liberal, because hilarious.
Being sad generally comes with the thinking
I did half an hour on my exercise bike, drank a bottle of water, and ate a banana from my MIL's garden. Take that haters!
We'll see if this continues to motivate me, as I'm notoriously bad about consistently biking or drinking water.
Either a really good editor, or a really bad editor?
I wish it didn't compress the middle. Basically giving spoilers on every thread where spoilers are a potential issue.
I propose Amendment 28: Any politician who suggests war crimes is immediately removed from office.
It may not work for @danshive.bsky.social being on a Tablet, because I think it requires a numpad.
I figured it out! You have to add a registry line, EnableHexNumpad with value 1 to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Input Method.
Then you can use ALT +2234 (you must type the plus sign). And I can now quickly type ∴. Too bad I will forget this in under 24 hours.
2234 is the Unicode version, but I don't know of an easy way to do it. In Word and Excel, you can use Alt + X after typing the number, but it doesn't work in any other application.
And like I said, Alt 8756 produces a 4 character for me, not ∴.
The internet claims it's ALT + 8756, but that produces 4 for me.
I recognized it immediately, but had formal education about it as well, though it's been like two decades at this point.
I shouldn't be surprised that ∴ has its own character, but I was a little, honestly.
