Not having enough questions about
their good friend, the Prince of Darkness
The only "Emperor's Return" I have any time for frankly.

If ever a game was in desperate need of a fan mod ...
The second had the temerity to do something different, and that cannot stand obviously. The decision to undo a lot of or just flat out ignore it in the third, well JJ Abrams can do one. Hack.
Our cloud provider has fairly obviously moved their "technical support" to hit a chatbot, which is tiresome in the extreme as it just rephrased my question and suggested the most basic obvious shit. The dead giveaway was when it suggested it might be a restriction in place by our cloud provider. π
A drawing of Iggy Pop
Happy birthday, Iggy Pop!
Endgame was great *at the time* as it put a cap (no pun intended) on 11 years of buildup and rewarded anyone who'd seen each and every movie thus far. It doesn't stand on its own, and shelling out to see it again for at *most* a few minutes of extra footage. Bugger that.
A white moomin cup with a blue drawing of flowers and moomin trolls
Whenever you go to Finnland you have to come home with a new Moomin cup. Sorry I donβt make the rules.

Curious about Rogue Trooper? Here's how you can familiarise yourself with the character before the movie lands.
This guide includes explanations of how it was published in @2000ad.bsky.social, collections, and even links to free samplers.
Iβve seen it twice now. Once last trip, once this.
βAnd what would be the scientific purpose of killing it?"
"...revenge."
See these fences in South London? I walk by them every day.
Know why they look a little odd?
Theyβre made up of repurposed WWII stretchers.
this is now canon
I regret to inform everyone that joking online is now illegal, to avoid feeding the big stupid plagiarism machine stuff that it doesn't understand and spits right back as fact.
It was a lot of fun to talk cosmology and Star Trek with @miquai.bsky.social for this podcast episode!

βA Piece of the Action,β the episode from the original Star Trek series when they went back the gangster era of the 1920s, was set about 40 years before that episode was filmed.
Iβm starting to like this guy.
"Captain Aubrey? That's not Chinese is it?"
"Apparently one of his ancestors was in the Royal Navy."
Exactly. You know, maybe they're actually tired of making all these superhero films and they'd like to go back to making comics, so if everyone would stop coming out to see them that would actually be great, please and thank you.
Perhaps I could interest the Russos in a snappy little narrative device the kids are calling a "flashback".
One of the single most common complaints I hear about Marvel is all the "homework", You need to have consumed 18 years worth of movies and TV shows to know what's going on. I was okay, like a sucker I had seen everything, but they figured out a way to give completists the shaft too. Ingenious.
They did it. Theyβve really finally recreated the experience of trying to enjoy superhero comics. This is the most expensive β[Ish #215 -Ed.]β ever brought to pass
And Jean Grey never went mad with power and casually genocided billions of people because she was in a cocoon at the bottom of Jamaica Bay the whole time. Oh wow, now the MCU really *is* like the comics.

Two boosters, Flesh Gordon. Four boosters, Flash Gordon. π
Also critically important: they made a rocketship that begins to look like a proper Flash Gordon/Golden Age rocketship.
