I found my first “press” pass. This would’ve been 1993-94. The best thing about it was that it let you roam the halls during class. You can tell I was both cool and serious because I’m wearing a tie.

Found a cool T-shirt today.
It was 25 years ago today that I began my career as a professional journalist. The journey from then to now has been a blast, even with the industry’s curveballs. On that first day at The Gaston Gazette, I never would’ve envisioned covering baseball for a living. I’m undeservedly blessed.
I’m normally opposed to all uses of “tis the season” in copy during the holidays, but the Blue Jays found a way to make it a little fresh. I’ll allow it this once.
