What was once a brave naturalist, now a poor soul about the be eaten by the wind, staring into the eye of oblivion.
Witnessing the migration of the mighty Stormcaller wivernes to the cold bays of wraith’s coast has become the holiest pilgrimage for those daring explorers & scientists of the world.-

With another year coming to a close, another #dragoncirclesecretsanta was upon me and my art buddies, this year I had the pleasure to make a piece for @mahimahieot.bsky.social's Leutarn!
I was a lil artblocked making this piece but I managed to get it done quick, came out decent enough :)
The journey is not without its dangers, for the stormcaller is the most dangerous Wiverne to man, and many an unprepared and overconfident naturalist and researcher have been swallowed by the storm.

South of the Crowns Plateau lies valleys and foothills rich in subtropical forest and mystery. Recently found was a network of elusive, treelike Wivernes. Small birds and Wivernettes have been sighted feeding them, in return for being provided shelter among their woody scales.
In the vein of posting stuff i did for smaugust, heres a critter i drew:
The Drei-Wulf is no dragon, actually descended from ancient therapsids who made their way to Alabaster. Their oddly pearly fur appears to be an indication of their stealth to mates -it working against them while on the prowl.

Stranger still, the still-nameless dragons seem to be capable of growing varieties of plants and mosses on them, perhaps providing them with further nutrients.
I really need to post more here.

The largest of both flying and carnivorous dragons, the Colossus Stormcaller is a storm given flesh. When flying, a combination of searingly hot salt-vents and the cold wind stirred by their wings causes them to be eternally enshrouded in hurricane-like winds.
Fully grown, a Colossus Stormcaller can swallow whales and other dragons whole, their rows of teeth slicing deep into the flesh and making the body easier to swallow whole. The indigestible parts are churned into a boiling foam along with excess salt and venom in a throat-sac.

Closeup.
Official render of Vendroy’s combat/military armour. Heavy-set and almost entirely dyed yellow with venom, and coated with a thick layer of stormcaller wax to waterproof it. It is intended for practical use, generally while astride, though it is still capable of use unmounted.

Another year, another #DragonCircleSecretSanta, this time for @cinnwanz.bsky.social
Not super happy with the result but oh well
A gear + full design commission I got for @commodoresir(on twitter)!
"Clad in tall, tower-shaped helms and flowing yellow fabrics; the feverish warriors of the Shastamen wield war hammers as a mark of their neverending devotion to the Tower's construction"

Smaugust post from earlier this year!
The Plateau drummer is the preferred mount of many in the crowns plateau. It's name originates from the drumming of its feet on the gravel and stone of the plateau, as well as the menacing thumps of its tail club.
A most wicked Wiverneering device, the Mark 1 “Beachwalk”is the signature firearm of the Stormeatre Legion. It is 40 pounds of iron, able to launch 3 varieties of lance at wicked speed and a range of 70 feet, a true lance from the Beachwalk can knock any dragon out of the sky.
Yes! the entire gun is solid iron alloy coated with a specific dragon's venom to give it a rust resistant coat and yellow dye!. The lances are indeed loaded in the barrel with a big load of gunpowder and then shot.

Fun 2-3 hour painting! I’ve really been into this style of close helmet recently, and I wanted to try something different.

Twitter might be getting banned in Canada, so imma start posting here more often!
The crowns plateau is home to vicious dragon cultists who seek to consume Archdrake scales and achieve petrified sainthood, turned to stone for eternity.
