I don't live in the district, but have worked with his office a few times. The most positive thing I could say was that their hearts were in the right place but it was a mess working with them. I just don't think he is much of a leader and I struggle to understand what he brings to the table.

That type of person doesn't think like a regular person. They see retirement as giving up, or don't ever consider it because the don't value themselves in any respect other than the power they wield over others.

I work with politicians and with few exceptions they are weird narcissistic people. Of the ones who are "normal" they don't stay long because it wears you down and there are more pleasant ways to make a difference in the world.

A few people have said the truth. "We like it quiet in mount prospect park" That's great, but sorry, it's in the heart of a borough of 2.5M people. You aren't entitled to an empty park, made empty by neglect and poor access/awareness.

The only viable complaint they could make is "The dirt lawn there is a beloved spot for pickup soccer" That is the truth, and that soccer use should be acknowledged. But I haven't heard a single complaint that is made in good faith.
