First time Rock Cracker on #StarCitizen with my org went pretty well last night! We had to switch regions because of the constant server 30Ks early on but once we switched regions, it went pretty well!

Is 4.7 the patch that genuinely gets me back into #StarCitizen?
Really starting to look like it.
I have taken a substantial break from #StarCitizen over the past months. Asides from joining some ops of my org here and there I've stayed mostly absent.
4.7 is shaping up to be one of the most impactful patches in a while.
And I'm all for it.

I have been a little absent from the streaming/YouTube scene these past few months...
Most of it is because I've been struggling with a burn-out irl with work as well as some hard-hitting stuff irl.
I'll be trying my best to get back into #StarCitizen and other games in 2026!

How's #StarCitizen 4.4 so far?
Well... This has been 90% of my gametime so far. But this is why it is Wave 1 PTU still!
I surely hope it gets better when it hits LIVE.
Also, Lagski truly is back! My RAM usage is sitting at 59.8GB / 64GB the entire time sitting at 20 FPS.
Very tempted to start an #EuropaUniversalisV game on Twitch/YouTube and see how it goes. I mean... #StarCitizen 4.4 isn't out yet anyway... Sooooooooo... 👀

Org OP today in #StarCitizen was a success! Took down roughly 8 Polarises with the org, trailed by a Reclaimer to pick up the scrap for extra cash.
Took some battle damage, but hey, it gives the ship character!

Okay. Project Hyperion in #StarCitizen is BY FAR the BEST piece of (story-driven) content they've ever added to the game. It is so incredibly immersive. Sadly we ran into some speedrunners so we couldn't fully take it all in. Next time!

Thank you! My second monitor is an old 2011 HP one that I use for Discord and livestream chat. That screen hasn't seen this much use in like 10 years. 😂

The Apollo is nice, but it is missing some modern features found on ships like the Polaris...
- No working mirrors? Works on the Polaris
- No storage slots in the med bays for medpens/heal guns? Exists in the Polaris medbay.
- Odd entry for only 2 SCU containers.

Messing around with the camera controls in #StarCitizen to see what's possible and how to get close-up shots.
It's tricky, but man do the images look good once you get it down.

God... I ordered a NAS for all my #StarCitizen footage back in early July and it still hasn't arrived... Was supposed to arrive end of August.
I have everything else! Hard drives, UPS... Just the most important part now. -.-

It's not just that. It's missing the touches that old Crusader had as a gas giant. The little swirls in the texture of storms on the gas giant, etc.
LODs on planets are a bit scuffed as well.
Might be a bit of a hot take... But I really preferred old Crusader over new Crusader. I know it was just a texture wrapped around an orb, but the detail at a distance seemed better?
Maybe it'll improve some day..

I want more risk/reward in Star Citizen again and have the game feel rewarding again when you win a PvP fight.
I, for one, am EXTREMELY happy to see MedGel coming to vehicles to limit the amount of respawns.
Maybe people will start valuing their lives again in #StarCitizen instead of running into a meat grinder over and over.
Now all we need is Item Recovery T0 gone
