Geraniums and lavender both help limit mozzies so they're great to have in a garden.
Geraniums are great! They keep the mozzies away and can withstand everything.
Allergies are slamming my head but still plowing through the terrace cleanup. Today has been a lot of spraying (savon noir + water) onto the mealybugs and aphids. The wet winter always helps the mealybugs prosper but this should be the end for them.
What a stunning bird!
Hang on, I thought Iran was totally destroyed and had no naval capabilities to do anything. It's almost as if the orange blob has no idea what he's talking about.
A friend didn't believe me when I told her phones pick up words and push adverts accordingly so I started talking about banks, then went to IG (when I still used it) and surprise, bank adverts showed up.
Today's TechBro CEOs are horrible but this guy has been horrible for decades. He bought a lot of PR to appear to be something other than the jerk that he is but the Epstein files have shown us the real Bill Gates. Maybe that's why he spends so much time with Trump these days.
The Republicans have never had a problem with radical policy after razor thin majorities so this makes the win so good. With any luck Republicans will be fighting amongst themselves for a while over this.
Looks fancy! 😂
The ones up here are way outside of Paris and down south, it's somewhere west of Nice. I'll keep a lookout for them as they expand.
I would love to check one of these places out!
I never heard of Fresh either. Paris has laws against big box stores so the ones in the city are much smaller. Down south, there's a massive Carrefour in Monaco or a massive Intermarché in Menton but nothing else besides the smaller city size chain stores or small vendors at the market.
Who knew the guy who fucks over everyone for 80 years, would fuck them over too? Nobody could have seen this coming.
I guess sucking up to Trump might not always go as well as planned.
Grand Frais doesn't operate in Paris and the closest one down south is in a shopping area way outside of Nice so I don't know when I'll ever get to one. They sound like great stores.
Looks like fraise des bois, which are outstanding!
Apple, Amazon and the others deserve to pay a stupid tax.
Fresh strawberries from Carpentras
Picked up some strawberries from Carpentras at the market and damn, they're good.
Is the regime change with us in the room today?
He was so obviously bad, I never understood the love he received from people. The guy was downright abusive. Nothing to be celebrated at all.
People used to think Apple was somehow different from the rest of the TechBro asshole companies when in fact no, it's every bit as horrible if not worse. Jobs was an obvious asshole and Cook is so sleazy and he loves Trump as much as Zuckerberg and Gates.
I used to do the night train to/from the south and loved it! Some of the newer night trains look amazing, wish France would get these services.
When I travel between Paris and the south, the flight is short but by the time you add in distance to the airport plus security lines, etc it's really not much faster and is more of a PITA so I stick with the train. But the flight prices were very cheap, which annoys the hell of out me.
I'll be buying my train tickets far in advance this summer! Just reading someone talking about having their flight cancelled to Europe from the US on a discount airline. I'm guessing the discount airlines will be hit first.
Still a work in progress!
It's always fun to get things going again for the season. I've been on the terrace for the last few days cleaning up, re-planting and re-organizing for the season.
She was at the grocery store a few blocks away, of course. maps.app.goo.gl/AYTdbt28rBPR...
Apparently it's a TikTok thing.
I still can remember my phone number from when I lived in your neck of the woods, probably because of the painfully long process of dialing on a rotary phone.
