I encountered this handsome gentleman while gardening today.

Two very happy dogs.
I've not seen these two friendly neighbours for two years. They are seeing their rebuilt home with a new floor-plan for the first time and are no doubt very confused.
A bit of a different take on the amazing Artemis II launch footage.
Here I stitched clips from the four Solar Array Wing Cameras to make this panoramic video.
This is during the later part of the Core Stage burn until MECO and stage separation, sped up to 10x. ππ§ͺ #Artemis
Yes - Venus to the left, Saturn and Mars to the right.
Solar array wing camera view of the Moon (credit: @NASAArtemis). We produce some nice imagery in #StarCitizen, but sometimes reality is just next level.
Saturn, Mars and Mercury to the lower right.
Eclipse.
Earthset, 6 April 2026.
I just saw this.
Artemis II astronaut Reid Wiseman named a newly discovered moon crater after his late wife, Carroll, who died in 2020 following a 5-year battle with cancer.

I love this Nasa shot, released today.
Stunning Artemis II launch shot. Photo credit: @AJamesMcCarthy on X.
Super Manchester show last night! Could you remind me where I can see the last tour online? I really want to see it now (I missed the run but did see tour before that). Thanks!
The Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage separation actually.
Beautiful Artemis separation shot!
Artemis service module separation was so pretty.
First Rush performance with their new line-up. I secured a 2027 tour ticket.
It'll be nice to see Julie Andrews again.
Have a great trip!
Not again.
I decided to make some plots of my body mass over the last decade or so. 2024 was the year I "made an effort".
There's a UK TV show called Casualty. For me it's Causality every time.
I nearly spat out my drink reading this Terence Eden blog, which claims investigating VR in 2023 was "getting in early". I co-founded a VR research group at the University of Manchester in 1991.
Never leave a hat unattended.
Try not to over grip. I gave myself trigger finger doing pull-ups.
Both of my Facebook birthday reminders today are for people no longer with us. Also a third friend of mine (my age) passed away this week, and the coming weekend sees me at a remembrance event for a fourth. Human mortality is very much on my mind right now. π’
Teaching CS in the 90s we worked hard trying to increase the share of women students through annual open days for prospective students. It was mainly UK women's numbers - we had a lot coming from abroad (e.g. HK). I'm still working in tech, and women programmers are very rare - 1 in 20 perhaps.
I know the feeling. Traverse my neck line and you go on a weird 25 year journey.
What a great screenshot from @RobertsSpaceInd on X - the production quality really shows. I continue to work on the graphics technology for #StarCitizen and #Squadron42.
Jupiter at 19:53 UT this evening. This is my first image of 2026, and also the first I've taken since replacing the telescope mount. #Astrophotography
54 years ago tonight I was drawing a map of the Philippines, copied from a world atlas. It was a Monday. I showed it to my mum. It was the last time I ever saw her. Some memories remain for ever.
