I guess my confusion is coming from the last question "Does your family have recent (2 to 3 generations) Caribbean or African ancestry?" My family does not which disqualifies me from participating in the rest of the survey. My third gen were sharecroppers and not from Africa or the Caribbean.

I have a similar question. I'm black and my great great grandma was a sharecropper, but she isn't directly from Africa. Are you only interested in folks with recent ancestry or can all black people participate in the survey?

do not ask yourself whether or art is good instead ask is it sincere was it cathartic was it fun to make is it made by me and don’t forget to stay silly

It's my assumption [and what I thought was common practice] that if a person autobuys an adopt that the auction is over but that's not the case for some folks. I just wish artists would put it in the description of the auction so bidders aren't surprised at the end

Ex:
AB 1: 100
AB 2: 150, include headshot.

Person A: bids AB 1 first
Person B: bids AB 2 after Person A

Artist takes Person B's bid even though Person A bid first and no where in the post does it say the higher tier bids can beat lower tiers.

Personally I don't mind either way. My only complaint is when artists who do auctions have multiple Autobuy options and don't specify if a higher autobuy tier can override a lower tier.
