It’s 4/20, and we must legalize weed!
We must immediately stop criminalizing people for using or possessing it, use the revenue to invest in our communities, ensure those harmed by the War on Drugs can benefit from legalization, and fully expunge past weed convictions.
Let’s get it done!

At our last Milwaukee delegation meeting, we sat down with members of the Milwaukee Common Council at City Hall to talk about protecting immigrant communities and standing up to ICE. Important conversations like these and working together are how we keep our communities informed and empowered.

BUCKS WIN!🏆🏀🦌
Democrats helped secure an important addition to the bill that expands eligibility for military funeral honors to include our Hmong and Laotian allies who stood alongside U.S. forces.
Every veteran deserves to be honored with dignity and respect. This session, we made real progress with the Reimbursement for Military Funeral Honors bill. This law provides support to VSOs so they can continue delivering the dignified tributes our veterans have earned.
Appropriate honors for those who served is non-negotiable. Legislative Democrats joined with veterans and families to celebrate a meaningful new law, which increases reimbursements for Military Funeral Honors and ensures the Hmong and Laotian allies who fought alongside US Forces are included.
