It’s almost impossible to read any detailed account of any war in all of human history and not find instances where the spread of disease directly impacted the outcome of battles and even wars themselves. This is like saying you don’t believe in helmets for the troops.

I don’t think you’ll find a better second baseman available than Stott, believe it or not. I also think they need more than bodies to fill the open spots. Marsh should be batting eighth against LHP and maybe sixth against RHP. They need legitimate middle of the order bats
