Is this story not a symptom of 'old media' being owned by foreign owners, who control the narrative, decide which stories are published or ignored. Coupled with political commentators/journalists now being personalities. Leading to a distrust in journalists, and journalists being scrutinised?

Convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein knew more about the plan to remove a British Prime Minister, than our media.

Our media who don't want you to know all this happened and is backed by clear evidence in the Epstein files.

Italian media have picked up on elements of the above.

In Norway, UAE, Australia relationships are being questioned, people are resigning.

Yet the UK is all Mandelson and Prince Andrew.

Here we have a cross party & foreign influenced plan to remove a PM ignored. Featuring Johnson & Farage 🀷

Bannon had used Epstein's private jet the previous day to fly from Edinburgh to Paris for lunch with HBJ, the former Qatar Prime Minister, then flying on Epstein's jet to London, staying at Browns Mayfair.

Daily Mirror reported that Johnson met Farage at Boisdale, as Bannon arrived in London

Epstein updated Terje Rod Larsen on why Bannon might not get to Abu Dhabi, due to "staying at the request of Boris Johnson, you can surmise"

Epstein who set up the original meeting for Bannon with Eduardo Teodorani Fabbri, of the Agnelli Fiat family, also sent him an update

16 Nov 2018, Steve Bannon was due to meet Eduardo Teodorani Fabbri, before going to Oxford Union

The plan changed as he went to meet Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and Rees-Mogg, to advise on making the move to remove PM Theresa May

In the loop & advising Bannon?
Jeffrey Epstein.

They met on the morning of 16th Nov 2018, to conspire to remove a sitting PM and Steve Bannon fed the outcome back to Epstein.

Traitors? Did Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson conspire with foreign nationals to remove a British Prime Minister?

Conspiring with a foreign national to remove a Prime Minister in the UK can constitute serious criminal offences

I think everyone forgets Bannon is a foreign national

My latest substack, a timeline of events in Nov 2018. Did Farage & Johnson conspire?

A poster that reads: you can’t spell hatred without red hat accompanied by a drawing of a red hat

A poster that reads: you can’t spell hatred without red hat accompanied by a drawing of a red hat

Everything is awful but the creativity behind some of these handmade posters gives me a glimmer of hope in humanity.

Would that be a terrible assumption on your part? πŸ˜‰

I take that as a confirmative 😁

Though, I am struggling with how one is deflecting when they say they don't have a view on something they don't know about?

No, it is an issue I have paid little attention to, it can be that simple. Vice versa, I am interested in things other might not be.

We have some similar views but I guess I believe the world is much more "Grey" than Black & White.
Where you strike me as Black & White, "No Grey".

I said "whatever their gender". I think that governments change track multiple times.
I am not passionate about every single issue, I doubt you are. I would say my knowledge on trans rights is limited as like many others it is not high on my agenda. Why would that mean my mask is slipping?

No it is much more basic than that, it is an issue that I don't think is high on everyone's agenda. Whatever their gender.

Dave, you have your views, I have mine. Discourse I believe is good, but being critical of how one uses an analogy to how another uses an analogy is pretty odd in itself.
I didn't ask you how you would spot the pilot was a wolf 🀣

2 months ago 0 0 1 0

Why do you say that? Where have I put that I favour one political party or another?

2 months ago 0 0 1 0

To use your analogy, I am not a wolf but neither am I a Pilot. Funny how we expect our PM's to instantly fly. Though I agree Starmer is not a natural Pilot but maybe a dull, dutiful one.

Though I will add that is where the problem lies with change. Unless you do a Trump, Johnson, Cummings which is authoritarian and chaotic, then you are hamstrung by government processes. Hence why I keep saying you don't understand govt. You are cherry picking authoritarian rule change as good

And your argument for this quick change being implemented is a former government. But only because they were self serving pricks. Did this quick change include those 40 hospitals, or 20,000 extra police. No, they enacted a war like footing due to a global pandemic with general opposition support.

The investment in infrastructure actually moving to building is a change I want to see quicker, transport, green energy, housing

Finally, Racist Reform rhetoric, again we are not miles apart.
I understand that just in the odd way a nation unites when its military criticised, you have to have some ownership of your flag, the line between a patriot and a bigot is much more nuanced than credited. Media control is big here too.

So in summary changes I like are small steps in the right direction, I see changes in a lot of areas that are building foundations to enable proper growth. What I would like to see is much much better communication, much better reasons given when change is slow.

I will also add that doing justice on social media to everything Israel/Gaza is nigh on impossible.

Clampdown on protest, I agree totally with your view. They clearly have this wrong. Though, I would add that protest is chaos and unpredictable things happen that can change the whole narrative both ways.

Trans rights though important should never be this high up any political agenda.

Taxing the wealthiest can only come once you have removed their political influence, you do this by changing donation, lobbying rules first.
