So i'm looking on google maps at the part of my state thats closest to me with the lowest light pollution for my astrophotography, and there is pretty much nothing out there except cemeteries and small churches. All I can think is "I really don't want to end up as the first death of a horror movie."

Here is NGC 281! The Pacman Nebula, which is 9,459 lightyears from Earth. My image is a little messed up due to having the wrong backfocus for my camera, which caused the stretching on the outer stars. Going to make a better version on Friday after a part I ordered arrives.

1:25 am. Can't sleep. Trying to so freaking hard. Body is like, no, screw you, you gonna be itchy all over for no reason instead. Took a shower. Didn't help. I want to scream. All my anxiety is overflowing from my brain over every part of my life.

Skies will be too cloudy for doing any astrophotography for a few weeks. I just bought my electronic filter wheel and a new filter too. Here is to hoping December has clearer skies!
