For RPR I want my voidsent to regain her human form like Zero and work like either Bunshin or Self-Esteem when I activate devil trigger

My solution has been to leave old pairs of glasses in key locations around myself in the same way i get extra keys to my car made. Not as clear, but better than nothing. Up to and including having VR prescription so I can Daft Punk search for my glasses.
It occurs to me that a better adblock wouldn't just block ads, but block anything that passively uses more data and bandwidth per second, essentially a valve. The worst ad offenders are sites like wikia that are flipping through hundreds of ads, enough to make my steamdeck sound like a jet engine
I even think Gaius is the digital version of the guy from the teaser audio shilling the liquid burger. It's an interesting post human tale, ghosts fighting amongst other ghosts for answers and loot for larger, angrier ghosts an almost impossible distance away, who can patiently wait years to respond
In a way, just doing things is actually kinda boring. Exciting once, then its an unpaid job or a meaningless hobby. But moving with a plot gives you a reason to keep going to see what happens next, eager for greater challenges. Number go up is meaningful if I have a plot need for it.
Definitely a case of the 'why' and 'for what' being greater than the action- playing GTA online is boring as its just a life sim, numbers go up. But playing GTA and doing the same things to move Franklin out of Grove Street feels like an adventure.
They are surprisingly not bad. And affordable compared to the oppi sodas, like, a better Pepsi Zero sugar. Now to wait for an extra coca coca-cola.
I'm hoping they justify the recurring seasons at somepoint by working in the Wrkncanter and our immortal digital minds are unwittingly traveling through time, shove in some Infinity in there, some digital Pathways into Darkness
A bit like some parts of Fortnite, they came up with elaborate maps and unique locations, but whoop de do if you want to explore or do things at your pace, as a rando with yellow gear snipes you dead, and finds you only had a starter kit and a half eaten snickers bar.
Its got great vibes, a great mystery and as you said, seems to be an interqual, though suffers the divorce between gameplay and narrativ As I suspect one could play it for months and not even notice some greater overarching story.
The DBZ teleports behind you meme but it's a starship and/or a third of an army
But really, my goal with that one was to have someone google something i'll write sometime in the future, or some reviewer will use AI to write out their review, and it will seem to inexplicably reference "Google Hyper Sonic Inflation"
made a txt scrambler that converts text into scrambled html, that a paired javascript unscrambles if given a trigger, with poisons and canaries interspersed, so if Ai scrapes my future works, it'll waste resources AND I'll be able to prove it when any trained model replicates the 'canary'.
I think i'm in my manic phase- buying stuff for my fixations, working on a dozen projects, eating weird. So far, I've gotten a ion Icade controller to work my PC for street fighter, made a visualizer for sound location so my mono ass can tell if sounds are coming from left and right, and
I can already hear in my head someone going "Look, you didn't have to get so angry, we just spent an exorbitant amount of time and money to gaslight you and record it to show to people"
..."For profit!"
Part of their prank better involve two orderlies and available bear tranq's, all I'm sayin'.
This too would be my reaction- the belief that any sane person would "oh, of course, it was just a prank, I'm less upset and relieved upon learning this" only comes from such shows not airing all the times the prank victim dropped someone and the footage became evidence.
The steppe Au Ra don't even know about rice until Doman Enclave, and I am curious how certain fairly modern dishes that exist now due to diaspora, like Yakitori or Yakiniku, would come about.
Was even thinking how for the Alexandrians now on the source, they have reliable access to beef and grains if that will change-up their reliance on synthesized proteins, or if they are in a position to corner the market on Coffee and caffeine due to a more advanced bean brewing culture
The sheer amount of culinary world building of FFXIV was enough that your endeavor was mosf warranted! Could do a whole VaatiVidya esque video just on how we can eat a damn Pizza in Limsa Lominsa, since there's an entire backstory for how new world produce is in the old world.
The minute VR Chat existed as a concept, where instances and 'sites existed as virtual spaces both private and public, for cheap, if not free hosting, they should have known you couldn't sell virtual real estate. But alas
I personally feel the control scheme is a mix of the state's rigid control over the convict: you can move and act, but you can't freely move and act, and also possibly a sign that the protag is disabled, which is why they fell afoul of the law for missing a rent payment
Its a great game to showcase dystopia and modern issues, but will also be played unironically by people who would happily send their fellow men to the crabs. The opening just got me thinking of how most horror blatantly makes a statement, and how many players treat it as fantasy conceit
(And if it is, it should be used again because it's interesting!)
That is to say, difficulty spikes should be a learning plateau or exam that is a prerequisite for later struggles. If this one plot critical boss is weak only to this one mechanic and no later boss is, it's an arbitrarily difficult boss for no payoff, unless the mechanic is very interesting.
For game design, ungrindable difficulty spikes should exist only to force a learning of a mechanic, and be trivialized when you do-a boss whose attack is a 1hko unless you blind and weaken him first, because later bosses will be similar and get players out of "bonk it until dead" mindset
Where it has instant death, or you stand in one spot or do one mechanic wrong and it's a game over, and it can't be flattened. Certain low level raids in FFXIV can't be beaten easy with level 100 players because a failed mechanic leads to an instant wipe, high attack just speeds up the mechanic
This actually makes an issue of difficulty curve, most cRPGs balance out, yes this boss fight is tough, but go beat up goblins for cash and xp for an hour and it'll be easy. Dark Souls is a good modern example, as a good farming route can flatten the curve. But then there's that one boss
The danger of old games was attrition, if you're spamming heals just moving around, you won't have any for a dungeon boss. Later games are anti attrition with more puzzles or skill checks, with loot aplenty and after battle healing, but turn combat into rocket tag.
My method of playing any retro RPG that isn't FF2 (or 8) is to run around the starting town until I have enough gil for 99 potions, and my WHM or BM can 1hko a basic enemy with a melee bonk. For emus and modern remasters with a speedup button, this involves a fast forward murder hobo montage.
