Shout out to @kellycnbc.bsky.social & @briansully.bsky.social for speaking with us on @cnbc.com about Frankenstein recipes and the grave harm to search trust & our brand they are causing. cc @glenngabe.bsky.social @rustybrick.com @aleyda.bsky.social a.bsky.social www.cnbc.com/video/2026/0...
As reference, here is the incredible deep dive about personal intelligence written by @glenngabe.bsky.social we mention in the video. It is simply a must read! www.gsqi.com/marketing-bl...
We have been recording our frustration about AI Frankenstein recipes being default AI outputs for a while. @glenngabe.bsky.social & @gregfinn.bsky.social inspired us the other day. We made a video to show just how damaging Frankenstein recipes are to search trust & our brand. youtu.be/1h4akL7ov70
Great article by @brianx.bsky.social. He is absolutely right, users and publishers have absolutely no say. The open web is in serious trouble and that isn’t good for anyone. www.nytimes.com/2026/02/10/t...
Incredible to see Bing executives listening to feedback about Frankenstein recipes. Shout out to @rustybrick.com @glenngabe.bsky.social @gregfinn.bsky.social @mordyoberstein.bsky.social @lilyray.nyc @aleyda.bsky.social & the SEO community for the support. The ball is in Google’s court to do better.
Huge shout goes out to @ayesharascoe.bsky.social for having Adam on @npr.org Weekend Edition Sunday to discuss how AI companies like Google & ChatGPT are eroding search trust and harming trusted recipe sites. Thank you for having us on the show Ayesha! www.npr.org/2026/01/25/n...
We truly appreciate having you to advocate John. There are many things that Google is doing with AI that can’t be permanent. We don’t need AI GSC click data to know that our brand name being used on untested AI recipes riddled with errors harms our brand and search trust. bsky.app/profile/rust...
We warned our readers about all of this in a viral video showing an example. Our fans were shocked that Google would do this! www.instagram.com/reel/DR5opO9...
Great article Joe 👏 Google is also plagiarizing our recipes and using our brand name on untested AI recipes flooding search causing real harm to people trusting human tested recipes online. What they are doing is simply horrifying! www.seroundtable.com/googles-ai-f...
It’s New 1/29: @mordyoberstein.bsky.social tells us who will block Google AI search experiences, Personal Intelligence Frankenstein recipes, @themarketinganu.bsky.social Google Ads API v23 and Microsoft earnings, are ads slowing? @gregfinn.bsky.social frozen whale www.youtube.com/watch?v=CK9i...
Completely agree Barry. Google needs to do much better. People are going to trust these recipes. To get the links @glenngabe.bsky.social needed to ask follow up questions after being provided a full default error riddled Frankenstein recipe. Even then links weren’t accurate every time.
Congrats 🎉👏
This is simply a must read! 👏

Fun read! We might use this app. We have a horrible memory for what shows we are watching and we plan on watching next😂 The Pitt is definitely the first to add to the list!
He is a force👏 Happy New Years @johnmu.com 🎉 Really miss the live hangouts though. You need to bring those back 😀
Thank you for your advocacy and covering all of this @rustybrick.com 👏
This looks delicious! 😍
It is one of the many reasons we respect @johnmu.com. We have been working on our site and brand for over 16 years. John has been giving sites advice through a lot of it. It was also amazing to finally get to meet him in NY at search central this year. Happy holidays John 😀
Honored to be interviewed by @reportergoodman.bsky.social with @cnn.com in this amazing article. We were frustrated to hear that she was fooled into making an AI recipe that failed. Google is eroding recipe trust! cc @rustybrick.com @lilyray.nyc @glenngabe.bsky.social www.cnn.com/2025/12/24/h...
😍🐶🎄❤️
Just read through the comments on our viral Instagram video warning our readers to avoid Google AI recipes. Our fans are shocked that Google would do this. After we published this video major media outlets have reached out for interviews. Nothing justifies this! www.instagram.com/reel/DR5opO9...
As we said at the NYC Google meetup earlier this year. We aren’t against AI if used to surface great content or noble pursuits. Right now billions of dollars of compute is being used to plagiarize our work. Organic Google can’t keep saying to produce quality content when AI Google just steals it.
We do! Then Google uses our trusted 15 year old brand name on AI recipes riddled with errors, our photos, our videos, without link citations. AI can’t test or test so it relies on us to train. @lilyray.nyc @rustybrick.com and many other industry leaders agree this is wrong. x.com/inspiredtast...
It is well deserved!👏 Thank you for sharing what we, and the other 21 food sites are seeing, and for highlighting what is going on. What Google and all AI companies are doing to recipes is also happening in all other verticals. They are going to destroy the open web if something doesn’t change!
