I lost several days of pay because I had to stay with my partner while they were in the hospital, so I’m opening semi-emergency sketch commissions through ko-fi so we can still afford rent this month.

If I’ve been cursed by someone I need them to back off so I have a chance to breathe. My head is gonna end up exploding from this stress

-I worked overtime when physically possible driving myself into stress induced exhaustion because we’re down to one income

-My dad went to the ER again and is currently in another extended hospital stay

-Had to take my partner to the ER again and now I’m waiting while she’s in surgery

Hhhoman where do I begin
-partner had to go to ER night before our anniversary, we spent our anniversary waiting on test results and sleeping all day when we finally got home

-partner got fired from job days later

-my dad had to go into the ER and had an extended hospital stay then sent home

Reluctantly sold it a while ago because I need the money
Maybe I’ll be able to pull it again some day, who knows

Man January has been AWFUL
I feel like I’m one more piece of stress away from exploding into a million pieces

My partner and I just spent our anniversary in the hospital because she got really sick. (She’s recovering now)

My dad was in the hospital for like two weeks because of sepsis (he’s doing better now).
One of my grandmothers is in hospice care now.
And one of my cats almost fucking died 😣 (he’s doing okay now too)
So 2025 can go die where it belongs. Hoping 2026 will be better…

I started the year sick with pneumonia and the flu back to back, and preceded to get sick at least once a month or two afterwards for the rest of the year.
I had some… very personal issues I’d much rather forget.
Lots of health problems and emergency wisdom tooth surgery.
Financial struggles.

2025 wasn’t the worst year of my life but it’s definitely up there. Good riddance. ✌️
