The problem is not winning the "war" - it's that he's losing the "peace" if Iran emerges stronger than before Trump attacked.

Trump is really fixated on that guy before Biden who didn't have the "courage or foresight" to act.
the US needs to have a cabinet level official whose job is to represent the US on the international stage - someone who could negotiate for the US - you could even call this person something like Secretary of State.
Presumably from Two Corinthians.
She’s not a winner! Trump only likes people who win.
Are you sure Orban is just going to leave office?
But but but didn't Trump say that the 10 point Iranian plan was a good basis and it would be so easy to complete the deal?
I guess JD (or whatever his name was at the time) never took a negotiations class in law school or a CLE on negotiations. He seems to have no idea what the process is.
If only the US had some official in government who was supposed to be in charge of US relations with other nations. We could even come up with a name for such a person - maybe a cabinet position - and call it Secretary of State.
He is supposed to say he has the greatest back up plan like one no one has ever seen before but he cant tell the reporter because he does not want others to know the plan.
Trump promised in 2016 that there would be a press conference in a couple of weeks to address these issues. He said that Melania had all the documentary proof, more than anyone else has ever had. or something like that.
Will Weiss apologize directly to Hegseth for the CBS piece about how Hegseth lied about soldier injuries and protection? (not that she should)
But you seem like such a Bennington person! (and I'm sorry for what has happened to your alma mater the last few years in its financial distress)
I was supposed to read this in an honors history class at Berkeley. But, alas, I did not. www.ucpress.edu/books/two-ch...
To MAGA and Evangelicals - Catholics aren't Christians, so that form is not applicable
Oh, that Cardinal Pierre? Why didn't you say so!
What's the over/under on when the Roberts6 stay this ruling and permit the revocations of status to proceed until the merits can be tried.
"miraculous protection" if we ignore the dead and injured and loss of hundreds of millions of dollars in aircraft.
what kind of name is Elbridge?
It's just astounding that after all this time he still doesn't understand how tariffs work. So much for that Wharton degree he claims (for which there is no proof and no transcript)
@kevinmkruse.bsky.social If Trump is shown all the media saying he lost the war, Iran prevailed, TACO, etc - is he more likely to strike out in anger or to stroke out?
Seems like if the US and Europe and Japan were to switch more to renewables, then it would matter less if the Strait of Hormuz could be closed. (Posting the obvious - that the GOP does not seem to understand)
This does not sound good
Next - "Iran has agreed to call it the Strait of Trump. There will be a new company to administer the tolls. Because of my business ability, they are going to give me (I mean the United States) 10%"
It may not even be 40M!
NYT calls it for Halvensleben
I see that taniel did call it over on X/Twitter.
Hard totals from NYT with 95% in: Halverson 9535 Allen 9081.
If my math is right using that 95% number, there are about 1000 votes left? If true, Allen needs 455 more votes than Halverson of those 1000 - or 728 of those 1000.
No idea what triggers automatic recount. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...
March 10. Harris was tops with 37% - Fuller 35 and the other GOPer - Moore 12%
Harris also only got 36% in 2024 against MTG, so he did do better.
Harris had 37% in the first round.
