It coming out during Covid was both a good thing and a bad thing, it being bad because people were just playing it more than you're supposed to, because there was little else to do IRL at the time, which I think hampered what people think about it in the long run retrospectively

For years I was so burnt out on this game that I didn't even want to look at it, and I was getting my Animal Crossing fix from playing GCN and City Folk instead. But I've started playing this again a bit recently, and you know what, it's still fun 🙂
