i prefer a world where fanfiction is allowed to be controversial and even bad than a world where we try to get rid of anything even remotely problematic.

I don’t know how I went all my life without it; but I’m doing my best to keep going, to keep healing because I think if Naruto were real, he would be proud of that progress. If no one else would cheer me on, I know that he would. I want to keep positivity in this space.

I love the Naruto fandom and community, and I’ve healed so much of myself through Naruto and the message it sends.

Fiction is a great escape; making OCs that you can relate to and heal with, writing stories to find comfort in. It’s at its core a truly unique and healing form of coping. I can tell you that as an adult, none of my adult friends care about proship debate - we’re old enough to -

I completely understand if proship stuff isn’t your thing, but please don’t try to come after me because of your own personal boundaries with your fiction consumption. I’ve had to live through a lot, and honestly, I have to feel the pain of those experiences in a safe way.

Another is; quite frankly if you are antiproship, then I don’t really wanna have to explain myself or my interests to you. I’m an abuse survivor, an COCSA survivor, and a victim of vile anti-lgbtq+ childhood years that literally was almost the reason I tried to die… like 3Xs.
