Ough, it ain’t slowin’ down and I’m feelin’ awful tight…”. The note on the left reads, “A native species of Cerulean Lake, this fresh water fish’s name comes from its unique defensive ability. After inflating itself in order to cover more area, it excretes a non-lethal toxin from the spikes that line its skin. This toxin is a catalyst that initiates a chemical chain reaction to any predator that comes in contact. Upon getting pricked, the target starts filling with gas, rendering it immobile and giving the blimp fish an opportunity to escape. Considered by many to be a delicacy, the fish’s toxin can be rendered useless when prepared by an expert chef. However, there are many cases of novice chefs inadvertently causing entire restaurants to fill with giant, immobile patrons.”
