I completely agree. To be able to search Events, narrow it down to your area and in order by date is something Facebook isn't even doing well. I feel like they would take so many Facebook users from that platform entirely if they could manage it

I definitely feel that. I'm just thinking that other than seeking out posts and using hashtags, spreading events or inviting won't really be a thing here. I wish it wasn't so Twitter 2.0 and more like a hybrid that helps out artists and small businesses more
