Talia and Shiva are sat within the former's bedroom, with Talia in Shiva's lap, Shiva's arms around her waist. Shiva asks Talia how her fangs are, as their length is connected to how hungry she is, to which Talia states she is hungry, and then begins to ask Shiva a question.

It is revealed that Talia's question is whether Shiva will let her turn her into a vampire, so she has someone to suffer with as she desires, though Shiva refuses, and states that she does not want to become a vampire until she's too old to continue her lifestyle of repeated combat. Talia then asks Shiva if she has any candidates to be her apprentice, to which Shiva answers that there have been a few, notably Dinah Lance, though she then adds that none of her preferred candidates are plasuible options now.

Talia notices that Shiva is slightly upset, and in an attempt to distract her, questions if she can drain some of Shiva's blood. Shiva allows her to, and the writing ends.
