I've been such a big fan of @gaminghistorian.bsky.social's youtube channel for years and while I'm sad that he's retiring from that aspect, I'm very much enjoying his Old Timey Podcast that he does with his better half, Kristin! The Great Stink was an excellent intro for me. #GreatHeapOfTurds
I've been tooling around with a local VTT app. If anyone that runs tabletop games and wants an option that is pretty simple to get up and rolling, I'd love to get your feedback! #tabletop #dnd #TTRPG #VTT

I'm spending my Saturday night going through gmail filters and unsubscribing to a trillion spam lists. What a baller.
Hey everyone. We're in the final stretch on development for SweejTech's GPU raycast propagation system. Our API is designed to work with any audio middleware, including Wwise and FMOD, joining our existing compatible products. We'd love to hear from you, would you be interested in testing?
Tooling around with my idTech4 project. I got some boxes to jump around and chase me! youtu.be/tHQgMEaJTUY?...

Oooooh yeah that sounds great!
Shrimp perloo!
Yes you should!
I’ll post a finished pic!
Time to make a perloo.
Yeah - I'm definitely noticing that! Oh well!
Happy b-day, Jake! 🥳
Noodles is trying to make me feel better.
Working on my iphone 32-bit recorder app that I'm calling "Qapture". Here's the logo that my brother whipped up:
So I can’t remember: do we hate mastodon?
Noodles can’t even.
You would think that in this year of our lord of 2026 that perforce would have a progress bar that works.
Yes! It captures as uncompressed 32 bit wav files, so they are beefy files but lots more dynamic range than voice memos and whatnot. I'm going to be doing testing with some external mics soon.
Clip selected in a rolling capture waveform
Settings menu for the app which includes Capture buffer duration, audio channel count, sample rate, audio input, format, version number, etc.
Another selected clip in the rolling capture
Free recording mode
I'm puttering around with a 32-bit recording app for iOS. It starts to capture when you turn on the app. You can select clips as it rolls & save them as individual files. You can also treat it like a traditional recorder, hit the record button, & it'll clear the capture buffer & start recording.
Wild to hear my name brought up! Talk about a lifetime ago. Great video! :)
I make good physic
Yeah, I think I'm just going to do a looping full kit drum solo and attach it to every ragdoll...might think about randomizing the pitch on them.
