So we’ll probably focus more on room swapping this week rather than trying to do face to face through a screen. I’d try to get them to eat on either side of the door, but the boys absolutely refuse to cooperate with that.

But Midnight and Sox are having none of this of course, so when they see her barreling towards them they understandably freak, thus leading to the battles whenever she manages to escape her holding pen.

So I THINK what is happening is that Leia isn’t actually attacking Sox nor Midnight. She wants to play. So when she sees them, and they run away, she takes that as an invitation. Sox used to do the same thing to Midnight when he was little.

The baby gate is now between the screen door and the normal door, but the office doorway is an odd size so the bay gate won’t lock in to place. I’d screw the door into place but I don’t want to deal with patching orange peel texture.

Me: We can use this mesh door to keep the cats separated but still allow them to see each other!
Leia: *busts through the screen door twice now, pulling velcro tape and push tacks out of the wall*
Me: So much for that idea.

Leia is officially out of quarantine but we need to work on introducing her to Midnight and Sox. We bought a screen door to put over the office door. It’s mesh, attaches in place with Velcro strips, and has a zipper you can use to get in and out. This way the cats can see each other

I hope he loses. We don’t need anymore assholes in power.

This dog rescue had a slumber party night where volunteers got to sleep with a dog up for adoption!

I can see that. A lot of the individuals pitching fits over certain characters and if they’re awful or not definitely strike me as WASP types. I could be totally wrong though.

Is it just me, or do certain fandoms not know how to agree to disagree anymore? I see it a lot in the SJM fandom, and especially when it comes to ACOTAR books.

Feeling sassy, made a thing

I am leaning towards doing a taller board and batten feature like I did in the bathroom, with a forest type mural or maybe a pattern with like trees and wildlife. Because even though we live in the woods I apparently feel a need to bring that inside too.

Granted this is set in the early 90s so commuting that far was practically unheard of at the time but as someone who grew up in Southern California it wasn’t unusual for my friends and I to drive there and back in a day… sometimes multiple times because we were crazy like that 😂

Watching NCIS Origins with the husband, and everyone on this show is giving Gibbs a hard time about having a long distance relationship.

His wife is in LA. Origins is set in Camp Pendleton/San Diego area… so that’s like a two to three hour drive.
