Also add in Write By Number. It’s secular and it’s awesome.
Oh for sure! I’ve never met a meaner person than a Christian homeschool mom. (That is absolutely NOT to say they are all like that. I’m only saying the meanest ones I’ve “met” ironically have been.) ✌️😆
The people of facebook. 😜
We definitely don’t travel internationally very often, but we have. I only wish we could do it more. It’s truly the best learning ever. My daughter was able to study abroad in South France for a semester and her scholarship paid for it.
My ladies and their guard (although now he’s big and tries to eat them) 😳 #eggsareexpensive #wongchickens #wongacademy #homeschool
Learning about Emperor Justinian today, and learning different styles of note-taking.

Mona does most of the talking while Ted mostly makes small comments or asks questions which Mona answers. So far so good. I’ll post soon how we set up our week.
I thought so too. They’ve just updated their books and honestly, my son and I read it together which keeps him involved. We stop to take notes (so that he learns note-taking skills) and he reads Ted while I read Mona.
I almost ended up using their history for Middle Ages, but then I discovered Curiosity Chronicles. It’s the most inclusive, accurate, history available for homeschoolers. It’s not free though. 😕
This is one of the reasons why we homeschool.
Right now I’m thankful for my backyard chickens. #eggs #backyardchickens #yardbirds
I was also blocked and I have absolutely no idea why.
Just bought this book: Words That Built a Nation, for our homeschool. It’s always good to have a copy of the US Constitution and famous speeches, historical essays, and documents.
Do you happen to know if Kelly Tudor is on Bluesky? I’d love to follow her.
The kiddos, enjoying some Belgian beer in Belgium. 🇧🇪 🍻
When learning about the French Revolution, naturally, you go to the Palace of Versailles and visit Paris! #homeschool #secular #travel #paris
Squeezing in an elevator in Paris 😆
Yesterday we celebrated MLK day and enjoyed snuggling with Pippa while reading One Thousand and One Arabian Nights for school.
