Looking forward to Kezia Dugdale and everyone else at @stonewalluk.bsky.social explaining to me how we are supposed to “debate” people like this.

Maya Forstator (Founding member of anti-trans charity Sex Matters) responds (on Facebook)to Stonewall's announcement of new chairperson Kezia Dugdale with "congratulations Kezia Dougdale. I hope we can have discussions.
Says it all really.
Driving her out of the country wasn't enough for them. Just an insatiable lust for destroying trans women and willing to harm anyone else to achieve that aim.
Gary Lineker - fired for expressing solidarity for people suffering from genocide.
Martina Navratilova - still on the books despite smearing and innocent person as a sex offender.
The other one was the gen sec of FDA - union for senior civil servants.
Yes you're right
Sir Olly Robbins is definitely set up for a wrongful dismissal case on the basis of that Committee Hearing.
He just doesn't see Palestinians as human.
But who is the dandy on the other side?
Olly Robbins: In my time there has been no other case like it.
I don't think I'm disputing that he can handle the pressure, the level of pressure in this regard seems unusally high and he is speaking or junior officials in regard to how that pressure may have manifested.
I don't know, feels like he took a wrong turn at the Victoria Palace Theatre
He's like a nodding dog
The pressure boils down to "get this done, and get it done before [Trump's] inauguration". Ugh
Obsessed with this smug dandy behind Sir Olly
The MPs questions to Sir Olly are mostly ridiculous - mostly repetition of previous questions, trying to get him to shame his predecessor or meaningless hypotheticals.
It sounds from the testimony that Robbins certainly did his job in difficult circumstances.
One thing Sir Olly Robbins is doing here is giving a masterclass in how not to throw colleagues and junior staff under the boss - Keir Starmer take note.
Number 10 told Sir Olly Robbins not to inform the Foreign Secretary of Starmer's desire to give Mandelson a job. This is so grubby, and so indicative of who Starmer really is.
Their key role is to advise, they can push back in that they can advise the process be more rigorous and its easier with a minister than a Prime Minister; usually what the PM, any PM wants, they get (within the context of legal interpretation)
Same. I always tell that to union members - any instructions from managers in writing
Emily Thornberry trying to get to the nub of which individual the pressure was coming from via the Private Office of the Cabinet... Olly Robbins is unable to say but ultimately the Prime Minister is responsible for what happens in Number 10.
Foreign Office throughout January 2024 were put under "constant pressure" to get Mandelson in post. Pressure came from the office of Number 10.
This is dynamite.
Cabinet Office felt there was "no need" to vet Mandelson given he was a member of the Lords and Privy Counsellor.
Olly Robbins: There was a "generally dismissive" attitude to vetting and the focus was in getting Mandeslon out to Washington "quickly".
Lawyers never lie is the WILDEST take I've ever seen.
Nathan Lorries? To go that extra mile?
If anyone wants to watch Sir Olly Robbins in front of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee you can do so here from 9am:

Can Stonewall Mark II put trans wars behind it? New chair talks of consensus but she’ll have a tough job unpicking charity’s bullying stance Kathleen Stock In the history of gay rights, there have always been fearless souls willing to face down mobs of pitchfork-wielding fanatics, but perhaps none so brave as Kezia Dugdale, incoming chair of trustees at Stonewall. In an interview with The Guardian this weekend, the former Scottish Labour leader did the unthinkable and praised JK Rowling.
If you had any doubts that Stonewall is a danger to trans people, here is Kathleen Stock praisng them in the Times.
