So interesting! I’ve just discovered that my grandfather was born in 1901 about five streets away from where my granddaughter was born last year. V tempted to look at census to see who was living in her house then.

Is Michael a particular cat breed, because I can see exactly the same cat cheeks as my son’s cat, Pasta.

Escaped and sowed 2 rows of lettuce, planted perennials, pulled up those damn sycamore seedlings, cooked leftover lamb pilaf, now back on the scrolling 😱

Stood next to Cameron in a garden centre in Chipping Norton, he with his kids and security (he’d resigned by then), security guys carried his plants. A couple of black people carriers, I think. Really wanted to shout about Brexit to him. But hey, not fair on his kids, I guess.

Four hen’s eggs, dyed a deep pinky-red, on a blue and white china plate. Eggs a bit patchy, tbh, first time I’ve done it.

I have dyed some eggs for my granddaughter’s first Easter egg hunt tomorrow. Massive palaver. But think they look great. Suspect she’ll have no bloody clue what’s going on but GOOD GRANNY.

Left too dry then overwatered, so they took up water too quickly, and skin split.

Is that your elevenses or is that your afternoon tea? Either way, looks great!

Also … disruptions to other countries’ economies, countries who had no part in this decision. From Mrs Furious in the UK. (Petrol already going up, for a start.)

Think it was a good calming break for her tbh, a rest while looking after two little girls

The chef Fergus Henderson loves elevenses, but he would have a glass of Madeira and a slice of seed cake. Also a good bridge between breakfast and lunch!

My grandmother always gave us elevenses as children; she’d have tea and a biscuit, we’d have orange squash and a biscuit. Bridged the gap marvellously between breakfast and lunch. A nice calming break.

Yesterday I filmed several baby birds walking across a street directly at my camera and asked Bluesky to suggest music

Several dozen folks did

Some even dubbed music over the original clip.

I haven't been able to get this out of my head.

So I give you

A Bluesky exclusive:
