Parcast podcasts was started by Max Cutler and sold to Spotify. Cutler has no research background and went to school for finance. Cutler would become Spotify’s VP, head of creator content and partnerships, responsible for deals and partnerships. He left Spotify in 2023.

And they charge for this stuff. And bank. This is wild! Then I have to listen to people actually spewing debunkable synthetic conspiracies all day.

I wrote to Spotify and a company that put out the history podcast CULTS because it seems entirely AI generated, but they won’t respond - though Spotify provided five reps over an hour. They have no liability when they put out history podcasts for it to have hosts, researchers, sources or accuracy.
