I like games with unique control schemes and mechanics that present a fresh challenge and stimulate new parts of your brain. Especially games that find an interesting way of having you do two things at once. Like Pragmata. Like Bayonetta Origins. Like Brothers. Like Astral Chain.
More please.

You bastards are so heartless. Now it’s 6-5 and he’s one solid play from me being on the losing end. Thought you’d send “get well soon” cards or some shit, or at least pray for me. But complete neglect? This behavior will go down as some of the most callous in the history of social media. The nerve.
I’m on the left.
How are they THIS bad? Seriously. Pitching? Great. That stat line is Warren, a last-minute free agent pickup off the Yankees. But my bats shouldn’t ever do this, especially not a few days a week. I’m handing a win to my opponent at this point despite hanging in there and staying ahead all week.
Still playing Pokopia but have now worked Tomodachi Life and Pragmata into the mix. It’s going well. Really very tempted to also get The Show, but I’m debating putting that $ toward MLB TV instead. MLB Network has solid coverage, but I’d like to watch more Dodger games in their entirety.
I had Kodai Senga start for me on my fantasy baseball team. He is no longer on my fantasy baseball team. I also have Bichette and that’s not working out great.
Fantasy aside, I really wish the Mets could get it together. There’s some talent on that team I do like.
Just because you’ve all likely been sitting on the edge of your seats waiting for an update and not playing Pragmata or Tomodachi Life, Soroka was the right call (7IP, W, 5K, QS). Especially so with deGrom, my other starter, at almost 90 pitches in four innings and being pulled early.
Propagandhi’s still the best band of all time. Funny how they don’t even have any competition.
Last night I picked up Soroka from free agency for tonight in case Senga blew things up. Need be competitive in wins, quality starts, and Ks. I don’t have much faith in Soroka against the Jays, but the weekly ERA already went from 2.96 in 34 innings to 4.06 from just three more innings from Senga.
I’m starting Kodai Senga in my fantasy league today and I don’t really need to. Commit me.
I added Samus and Alex Trebek. Not sure who’s next. I like the idea of Dexter Morgan, Wayne from Letterkenny, or Keanu/John Wick, but I really need more ladies first. I don’t know why I’m drawing a blank. I had great gender balance in the 3DS game, but I also had more friends to share Miis with.
But I’ll shut up now. 😆 Not sure I’m talking to the wall when it comes to baseball, but I figured I’d post every now and again and hopefully find out who also watches or plays fantasy. I know I had more baseball fans following me on Twitter, but I’m not sure they made it over here or follow me. 🤷♂️
And how about these recent outings from Imanaga when it comes to pitching? I was concerned about his pitch count and strikeout limitations, but he’s been putting on a show in his last three starts. The wife and I are fans of his style, so it’s been nice to see him to locked in and dominant.
Funny that Trout’s been tearing it up lately, because no one in my league wanted him – I think he was ranked too low and people didn’t realize it was due to a few years of injury. I’m not sure how long it will last but the way he’s playing lately sure feels a lot like it did about a decade ago.
I could start relying more on free agents and put something better together, but it would be boneheaded to not wait a little longer on most of these bats before dropping. And I’d have no choice but to drop because they have very little trade value in this state. I can’t just drop them like that.
My fantasy baseball team is still rubbish. Pitching is mostly solid (struggling to get wins), but the bats? 🙄 Judge is finally coming to life, but the two other guys I drafted early (Alonso and Chisholm) aren’t batting above .200. And just about every other hitter is spotty at best.
Oh shit… Shohei Ohtani just fell in love with my wife. My virtual world is going to hell. Especially when you consider Hank Hill DID NOT want to talk about lawn care.
So far I’ve made myself, my wife, Hank Hill, and Shohei Ohtani. Not sure who to make next, who I could pull off and who could work, but I wish Professor Layton seemed easier.
Also need another woman to keep better balance. I tried making a couple friends of mine but failed miserably.
Somebody make me Derek from Shrinking for Tomodachi Life.

“I miss California and every dog I’ve ever met”
I can relate to these lyrics from the new I Am The Avalanche album.
That’s what Codef have pulled off better than most bands that’ve tried something similar. And in the rare case the genre stylings clash, these guys have something worth saying, which helps carry any displaced weight. It’s brutally honest and touches on heavy subjects, bolstering authenticity.
When I say I’ve never been able to take rap-rock seriously, I mean most I’ve heard doesn’t sound organic and often sounds forced and a bit silly for that reason. Otherwise I think punk & hip-hop have a lot in common in essence, and I wish the scenes & genres would come together in meaningful ways.
Never been able to take the rap-rock thing seriously, but these two Codefendants albums are killer. Their debut would’ve been my AOTY in 2023 if Fireworks hadn’t put out Higher Lonely Power, an all-timer for me. But so far this year, LIFERS is on top. Not surprised to see Fat Mike more involved.
A screenshot of my fantasy baseball stat tracker which shows I currently have all 6 points available for pitching but none of the 6 points available for hitters.
All the pitching, none of the batting. Bats just won’t come to life. I made a couple changes but they aren’t paying off yet. Seiya returning this week could help, but I think I’m performing OK at his available positions.
Detroit is a good pick. It was especially special during the punk and emo scene back in 2000-2010 (packed shows every weekend from iconic venues to local halls). And of course it’s a great city for sports and dining.
I’m feeling something similar right now. Keep your head up. Fighting through the hard times makes the good times that much better.
It’s early, I know, but this is an abnormally poor start. I usually end up in 1st-3rd come the end of the season, but I’ve never had a season start with a team this disharmonious. Absolutely getting rolled. Gotta focus on making bigger changes this week, I think.
