One thing that has stuck me whist canvassing for the upcoming elections is how, in Ealing there's almost a cognitive dissonance around LTNs
There was one person saying
LTNs = bad
Whilst in a neighborhood with a road closed to through traffic and benefiting from quieter streets
#£LTN = good
The stats here are horrific.
300,000 uninsured drivers on roads every day.
1 person affected every 20 minutes by an uninsured driver.
1 person a day left with life changing injuries every day by an uninsured driver.
Yet successive govts have failed to tackle this
