I wonder what the benefit is of tipping them into the sea instead of just taking off from onboard?

The most recent 2 BBC videos on Youtube yesterday were 1) about how politics has failed and 2) about 'Starmer's failures'.
I think the idea that they continue to be a serious and impartial news service is in genuine jeopardy.
I don't expect the media to help politicians, but it's unpleasant to see you guys painting this narrative. Starmer is between a rock and a hard place, and presenting this as a free choice is just disingenuous.
Initially read that as 'bed wet me'..
The Lady is not for Turing!
Lovely.
If its good enough for Ciaphas Cain, it's good enough for a submission, surely?
How to immediately tell someone actually works in games.. ๐
This hits so hard..
Just finished the first one, really enjoyable. Thank you.
Just purchased!
I think 20% is just the vocal ones, the number who will just quietly get frustrated and stop playing is much higher.
They certainly did. Wonderful achievement.
Absolutely. I'm replaying it at the moment and as a designer it just leaves me in awe.
They'll just claim the level design is bad as soon as they get lost.
To do it using just the terrain though requires REALLY top class level design. Breath of the Wild does it magnificently, but its super challenging to pull off.
'Lighthouse on an islet' already upset me for some reason.
This.
Bingo.
Lovely game. The Pale Beyond is also well worth a look if you like well written, creepy boat games.
Super easy to pick up, slight learning curve getting used to what the hands mean but it should be quick to learn.
Imagine Poker. But poker is on crack. And now you're on crack too..

Deservedly so!!
That looks incredible.
'other people will tell you how to make your game and they're usually wrong. they're probably right about a problem but they tend to have the wrong solution.'
That right there is the pure truth.
Lovely work!
He's rumoured to have also played the famous murder-simulator Stardew Valley, where obsessed fans cold bloodedly slaughter the innocent denizens of an underground residential complex.
My approach has always been to start with a story. Basically, visualising a piece of gameplay or an experience and then working out how to get there conceptually. Mostly, it just comes from life or a moment in some media that seemed compelling, and seeing if that can be built into something.
You don't have to be confined by genre, but if you want to get a breakout hit in a genre that isn't currently popular you need something that can easily capture attention. A unique art style, an attention grabbing premise, or just superb community building. It's possible it's just more challenging.
