thanks!! was surprised at how good it feels, forgot to link it in my post if you wanted a play

very much inspired by @volorf.bsky.social 's recent slider explorations!! made me consider what other ways of numerical input were possible
to aide discoverability, it looks tappable. if tapped, it shows a circle, as a dial-affordance
a couple details that make it feel smooth:
- it uses velocity to keep things usable - the slower you go, the more precise your input. the faster you go, the larger your input.
- if you're moving fast, and skim the original card - your input is not interrupted
something i've been playing with over the last couple of weekends: a circle slider.
similar to a dial, this allows you to turn circular motion into input, by dragging off of a ui element.

some bowl fruit I had last year, I still dream of it
I hate seeing the unity default UI font - get it outta here!!!!!
tiny design tip for engineers that will massively level up your apps: stop using the defaults!!!
spend 30 minutes picking out a font, some UI colours and preferences. suddenly your app will have character and personality and feel like it is yours
nothing better than fruit in a bowl

love the fisheye lens on this vid
UI experiment with a slider inspired by lever mechanics. Built in SwiftUI.
I still find it hard to find people even when searching terms that should match their username ๐ญ

Great issue - first I've read & really enjoyed it!
@stephenhaney.com anyway - skeeting at ya as i was wondering if you had an eta for the design system work you guys are working on? seems like a KILLER feature - can't wait to give it a try!
@stephenhaney.com hey! i just started using paper today and it really seems like the real deal!!
me + my design bud immediately fell in love with it as the perfect tool to help us design with ai - felt like the missing piece we've been waiting for
this suuucks. sorry to hear it.
I'll check it out!! sounds fun
love the blush!
