This box has been interesting. I’m reclaiming a cutting board and a huge chunk came out while I was trying to get fancy. But I can fix that. #woodworking

I made my first box partly out of padauk. Very pretty. But I haven't used it since. Very chippy.

Very much agreed. It can be awfully hard to unplug sometimes. When I get in the groove out in the shop, it can just be me creating in a way that makes me feel fulfilled. And in the end, with flaws I've done my best to fix, is a wonderful piece of art (even if just to me).
