A drawing of a Muppet-y Cloud Strife riding on a Big-Bird-like chocobo.
From this day in 2021: My nephews were curious about Final Fantasy after seeing a Moogle I drew and I described Chocobos as looking "kind of like Big Bird" so then I had to draw it.
Drawing of a Tomato badly drawing a dog. They are embarassed. It says „No talent only effort“.
For real.

We've had an update on Joe today. He's had a tracheotomy today to move him off of the ventilator at last, and he's recovering well. Things are going slower than originally anticipated, but the doctors are confident he's on the right track slowly but surely.
Thank you all so much for supporting him.

Game Changer: Home Edition – coming to Kickstarter on May 5th!
Three games. One box. Infinite possibilities.
Since people are clearly appreciating his work, here's my absolute favorite image by Allan Rohan Crite, his stunning and deeply felt "Streetcar Madonna" from 1946
In the center of the image is a whiteboard that says "Funds and Grant Writing Committee Info Session, April 11th 6PM PT, 9PM ET, 2AM April 12th GMT, 1PM April 12th AET." To the left of the whiteboard, one of the co-op's mascots Nibford (a dip pen) wears a yellow tie and gestures to the board. To the right of the whiteboard, Inkling (an inkwell) wearing business glasses sits at a desk covered in papers and a calculator, writing business things down.
Are you a Serious Person™ who is serious about bookkeeping, taxes, and getting people paid on time?
Well, the Co-op's Funds and Grant Writing Committee might be for you!
Come join our Info Session on April 11 to find out more!

A graphic announcing an event hosted by Cartoonists United. The event is titled "Explicit Comics, Censorship, and Freedom of Speech" and is being held on April 10th at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 6 PM GMT / 5 AM April 11th AET. Text reads, "Join host Iris Jay with cartoonists Maia Kobabe, Taylor Titmouse, and PomPoison as they discuss censorship in the comics scene and their personal experiences, triumphs, and struggles creating explicit comics." Various cartoonish drawings of the mascots Inkling and Nibford surround the informative text, with cheeky references to emojis used for explicit texting (eggplant, peach, cherries).
On April 10th, join host Iris Jay & cartoonists Maia Kobabe, Taylor Titmouse, and PomPoison as they talk about censorship, personal struggles with suppression, and triumphs in the contentious arenas of erotic comics and internet privacy.

Hey cartoonists, do not sign on for this. If they aren’t paying animators or authors, they sure as hell aren’t paying livable graphic novel advances.
And also, it sucks.
On a medium yellow, blue, pink and purple gradient, the Co-op's mascots Inkling (an inkwell) and Nibford (a dip pen) are both putting a coin into a small box labeled "tax." They look satisfied. To the right, large text reads "Get Your Shit Done Quarterly: Tax Edition," it is the same gradient as the background and surrounded by a filled black box. Below that, there is a short dotted line and then smaller text that reads "April 4th at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM GMT / 3 AM April 5th AET." In the bottom right corner is the Co-op's logo, and a speech bubble is coming from it that says, "Please do your taxes!"
Need to finish those taxes but struggling to find time to do it? Join us on April 4 for Get Your Shit Done Quarterly: Tax Edition! Done with your taxes already? Join us to take care of whatever pesky admin tasks that need doing alongside your fellow Co-op members!

Create relationships with press outlets. Success in 2026 means marketing and with an increased onus placed on creators to do so by the publishers, creating a network to help promote your work is essential for long term career success.
Lan is out here making one of the most fun and heartfelt comics out there right now, and the fool is literally giving it away for free.
