The Nintendo Switch Online menu has received a Super Mario Galaxy theme to commemorate The Super Mario Galaxy Movie's release, promote the games and related activities.
Brand new and returning Super Mario Galaxy Switch Online icons are now available to be redeemed as well.

A Player 1 and Player 2 control scheme is present when standing still during the Demo.
A new Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 Bundle Demo is now available at Nintendo Switch 2 Kiosks across North American retailers.
This Demo is only available to be played for 10 minutes and features a new menu with three levels of varying difficulty for each game.

It has some unique assets made specifically for it, but its files have not been archived and are currently lost.
Cloudy Court Galaxy's galaxy select banner got re-rendered in the Super Mario Galaxy 2 port. For some reason, they opted to replace the in-game Paragoomba with a New Super Mario Bros. render slapped over the image.
