Calling all home bakers!
Butterbase has been rebranded, rebuilt, and relaunched! The free tier is now much more generous, and prices have been dropped for the paid plans.
Our little gift to you for making it through 2025.

Hilton just lost so much good favor
In other news, water is wet
It really sucks to be working 100 hour weeks and still not have money to pay the phone, internet, or power bill. I hate doing this, but if you have literally anything to spare I'm desperate at this point venmo.com/u/watzon2
So I know it's a little bit late but if anyone is looking for a fun way to show someone you care this year without breaking the bank, you should check out the free project that I just launched.

I'm grateful she's finally retiring. We need term limits
The fact of the matter is, most companies can see through this easily. But it makes it so that only 1 in 20 (or less) of their applicants are real people trying to get a real job. Instead, companies have to wade through miles of BS in order to find those real applicants.
I learned recently that one of the major reasons the employment market for developers is in such upheaval is because of all of these outfits that are trying to hire engineers just to be a face while they do all the coding much cheaper in the background.
I love NCIS, but man every time they have to "hack" something I cringe
What even is this country anymore? π
Wow we're calling "mormon" a slur now?
I know this is a tired question, but who is actually hiring software engineers right now?
I knew as soon as I saw your post that you were going to get some replies like that. Smh.
I'm curious, how many home/cottage bakers are here on Bluesky? Sound off. #homebaker #cottagebaker #cottagelaw #baker
Who out there is actually hiring engineers? And possibly more important, how would you recommend actually getting eyes on my application and not getting lost in the shuffle as one of 5k applicants?
I'm a senior engineer with 14 years of experience and finding a job has been almost impossible.
Trump and the GOP just signed a death sentence for potentially millions of Americans. Let that sink in.
Happy Pride to all my fellow Utahns

He looks like a failed artist
The system prompt for Grok was made public after this whole fiasco.
It took me far too long to realize I was reading an Onion article. It really says something that it was so believable.
You know what I love about #3dprinting? I can decide that I want to print Obi-wanβs lightsaber, and have it in less than a day. I have the fucking high ground.
I was going to say Jasper as well, though I couldn't get that specific with it
I think it's important for people to realize that there are a lot of reasons Trump is doing this, and one of them is a loyalty litmus test. He's seeing just how insane he can be and keep his followers. #politics #uspol #trump
Is there a map like this that shows population centers and what direction they're leaning instead of showing provinces?
